[Resolved]  Max Bupa Health Insurance — Signature forgery & Reluctant agents at customer service

Dear sir/ madam,

I have a Health insurance policy issued by your company (Policy no.[protected]) and have been facing issues with regards to your executives right from the day the policy document was issued

My earlier issue of forged signature on the policy was not handled satisfactorily and I have still not received response from the company on the same. Your agents Mr. Ravi Kumar and Mr. Anand Kedia asked me to sign on a document and requested me to close the matter.But now once again I am facing troubles because of their inaction.

I am very thankful to your organization for keeping such reluctant agents who are very unfair when it comes for customer service,and when they need policy they call us as many times as they can and also visit us "N" number of times regardless of time schedules.

My complaint is, I was hospitalized few days back at Panacea hospital in Bangalore and I was told by the same agent Mr. Ravi Kumar that he will collect my documents after I get discharged from the hospital. I
did not ask for him to do this, but was offered the same by him.

I was discharged on 4th Aug 2012 and the same was also informed to Mr.Ravi Kumar. On conversion with him over the phone and SMS I have informed him numerous times about collecting my documents and claim
form so that I could get reimbursement of the amount.

He has promised and committed to meet me at my residence, which he never did. I am under bed rest and offered to send a person to collect the claim form and hand over the hospital document to him, but he
refused saying he will do the needful.

It has been over 5 days now that he has stopped responding to my calls and SMS and so I had to call the customer care and ask for help.

I was hospitalized for slip disc and am advised to limit my movements to home, but am being traumatized by your agent and not able to rest with peace of mind.

The reason I (along with 3 of my friends) took the policy from Max-Bupa is to avoid such incidents, we could have very well taken Insurance from the Public-Sector companies. Now because of such experience me and my friends who have opted for Max-Bupa are forced to look for alternatives.

I hope against hope that unlike my previous experience, this time you would take care of my complaint promptly.

It has been ten days that I have been discharged and if your agent had done what he had promised the amount I have spent should have been on its way.

Kindly look into the issue so that I do not have to look elsewhere when the time comes for me to renew the insurance, and please send another agent who could do the required formalities at the earliest.

*** I have raised this complaint to "The Executive-Customer service,Max Bupa" on 14/Aug/12 and to "The Senior Manager- Customer service,Max Bupa" on 16/Aug/12, but unfortunately i have not received any feed back or acknowledgement of my complaint request till now. This clearly shows how serious is Max Bupa when it comes to customer service.
Kindly let me know what sort of further action can i take on this issue.
