I am really serious about this matter as this is looking like a proper email and why should the company excite us about being a winner. So if this is true why are we not being able to call the number given to us. This is not right at all.

But I'm certainly getting fed up with the amount of emails I receive from these scams. I know it is easy to just delete it. But why should I have to even receive one in the first place. The more I read other peoples stories I was infuriated about how many people were scammed.
I was mugged and robbed four times in my life. I was nearly killed a couple of times. Talk about bad luck. The police caught two of the four. Which is nice. I'm pretty upset about criminals.
We as civilians in our country can do something about this particular scam.
It is too bad Microsoft doesn't track these people down. Is there any laws to send these people to prison? The prey on naive people, which is nice at all.
The more people who complain to the ombudsman of Microsoft and of the consumer ombudsman or the ombudsman of you're country or province/state. For example I live in Canada and we have a consumer ombudsman and provincial ombudsman in each province and for all of the country.
Example; Canadians in the Province of British Columbia thousands of people were complaining to Canada's Ombudsman about a telephone company by the name of Telus. The complaints were about their poor service and long waits for customer service when a customer tried to call in for assistance. Telus was forced to act on building better customer care for their clients.
Another example; seniors were targets of a scam in Canada. The company targeted seniors and said they won $100, 000 dollars and you just have to give me you're credit card number, bank account number or send us a money order for X amount of dollars. Many people complained to the ombudsman and the issue has been tackled.
Ombudsman protect the right of the people when it comes to scams and complaints. In this case this has to do with not only insurance companies, banks, people and Microsoft, it has to do with the people. Us! We are consumers on the internet and sometimes things look so legitimately right people fall for scams. We need to stand up for ourselves. I'm lucky that I worked for a bank and witnessed every scam in the book. I'm now working in Film and love to tell stories on screen. We need to stand up for ourselves and make sure this complaint gets out to our leaders in our home countries and to companies who too get effected. Such as you're personal bank, Microsoft and insurance companies who sometimes fit the bill for scams...
So write a short letter to you're ombudsman and too Microsoft's ombudsman. Let's do this together and catch these jerks. And Maybe the law can increase jail time for these criminals. We need to have heavy laws for these criminals.

I also got this message. I also get one saying There was someone with the same sure name as I who died in Africa. And they think I'm the closest living relitave to them. And they have a $11, 000, 000 bank account that I need to claim. I have no relitaves in Africa. Scams make me so angry.

I am from China. I got that mail a few days ago. I also feeling very uncertain. I don't know why some people would like to cheat people. I know that's the hoax. But I want know that they how to cheat the people's money if the people don't give them any credit card number or the Bank account. I try to reply the mail. and they want me sign my full name, age, country, occupation, and the contact address. And I try to send them some imformation.And I also ask them question that how much tax should I pay. Then they reply to me, and let me contact the one world express courier company. And need me send the same imformation to that company. But have not answer my question. And I check that company's address is wrong and the e-mail address also wrong. I really want to know What they want. I want to Call the police, but I am a Chinese in China, don't know how to contact the kingdom police. They should go to jail. Don't let them hurt people.Why so many cheater in the world?!
Why can't microsoft try to trace these scamsters or at least the agencies involved in putting order over web abusers create a system to stop these people? Am from the Philippines and it infuriates me why these people are ignored in the way they operate in the web- it seems... I feel sorry for this.
