[Resolved] Moserbaer — Repair of Moser Baer iVO 515i | |||
I have purchase a media player of Moserbaer 14 months back which is facing some problems now. I went to the service center and was told that it is a "use and throw" now as it cannot be repaired and it is also not covered in the warranty period of 1 year from date of purchase. I would just like to ask whether any expensive product of a renowned company is only meant for the warranty period and after that it becomes a use and throw for the customers. Moserbaer DVD player — Failing to repair the product in Guarantee period
I purchased Moserbaer DVD player from DASS Electric trading company ( P) LTD. at Kothrud on 22/11/09.The product had 6 Month Guarantee. It failed to switch on from 3rd February 2010 7 I gave it to the dealer ( DASS) for repair. They sent it to MOSERBAER service centre. For 45 days the company could not repair the set claming some part was not available. Finally I asked them to return the set back to me 7 they duly returned the set without repair. They are unable to give any commitement as to when they will receive the require part 7 when the set will be repaired.
