[Resolved] Mts — CHEATING AND HARASSMENT | |||
I was looking for a good and reliable Internet data card provider and searching the Internet. I came across name like Airtel, Aircel, BSNL,Tata docomo and Mts. Based on the number available I contacted MTS to enquire about their service. They claimed that they have their super speed service in my area. I am expatriated settled in Aluva and I believed their claim and asked for a demo. On November 2nd two of their representatives named SHYNTISH and SUJITH showed up with their product. They used my computer to demo their product. the modem they used were showing speed which was average, and raised my concern immediately. They told me that the the modem I will be getting is a newer and different model and will give 3.2 mbps speed. Believing them I paid RS 1100 and purchased the modem. The assigned MTS number was [protected]. They promised me that the service will be activated next day morning and I did not happen. After several calls they activated the service next day evening. But when I started using the modem it was dead slow and was not giving me speed more than 128 kbps speed. I immediated contacted my sales persons and they told me to change certain parameter in the login module, which I did and did not give any good speed at all. I packed MTS modem and stopped using it. I contacted the sales reps and asked them to come and take back their product, deactivate the product and return my money. I told them since I was leaving for USA on November 7th, they should do it prior to my departure. They said they will do it but nothing happend. I left for USA on November 7th and came back on November 27th. No action were taken BY MTS to return my money. I called SHYTISH at [protected] and SUJITH at [protected] several times, but none of them returned my money nor they took back the modem. After couple of days I got a call from MTS customer service asking me about reason behing deactivation of the service and I explained the whole situation, therby I learned that the service was deactivated. There after I started getting calls from MTS customer service [protected] asking me money for the bill, a service which I did not use for even a day. I told them to stop calling me on this matter. But it continued. On February 7th myself and my wife personally went to MTS office in Anchumana Eranakulam to address this issue and we met thier customer relation Manager Patric ([protected]) and explained again the whole story and provided the name and contact numbers of their sales reps who cheated me in this business deal and also the about the daily calls which I am getting asking money. He personally assured me immediate actions to resolve this matter and promised me that I will not get any more calls from customer service for the money. But it was useless promise. Still I am gettting calls on every day asking me the money for a service I did not use for evern an hour. This is getting to my tolerance limit and I am going to file harassment complaint agaist MTS. I have not seen worst serivce and business approach like this in 62 years of life. Customers should not go for MTS data card service at all. They sweeten their talk to get you in.
