[Resolved] Panasonic — Cheating and irresponsible behavior | |||
Hello, We bought a Panasonic LCD in late 2007 in around 26,000/- INR and recently there was some issue with the display. We called up the Panasonic staff who sent us a representative to collect the LCD. After checking he informed us that the repair charge would be 1300/- Rs. We agreed and sent the LCD along with him. later after may follow ups we were informed that the repair charge would be around 30,000/- Rs which exceeds the cost of the LCD. After 3 months of dilly dallying we were told that the LCD was not to be found. again after repeated follow ups one day a Panasonic Representative came home with the LCD in the absence of any male member in the house and forcefully left the LCD without repairing it or giving us a valid explanation as to why were we told the repair cost would be 30,000/- when earlier we were told it would be 1300/-.. This is a very serious issue and needs to be addressed. Our Panasonic complaint no is 006554 and the outlet with whom we were dealing is Heera electronics at Juhu Gali, Andheri west. Thank You.
