[Resolved] Passport Service — Did not receive passport after 3.5 months | |||
Hi, I had applied for a passport in Bhubaneswar office for my wife on 19th Aug 2010 (File no - A[protected]. It has been more than 3 months but still i did not get my wife's passport. The online status also showing as blank. When i enquired at passport office counter, they are saying candidate has to come to the passport office to sign for opening a file. But unfortunately my wife is with me in Pune. But i dont understand why signature required in this case, even after all documents are ready(last online status, after which it is showing as blank). And when i tried to raise a complain about the same in passport office, they are not giving the complaint form and saying we will send you the passport in 15-20 days. This means i will get passport after 4 months of applying and that is not sure. Please help me in this regard. Alok [protected] Was this information helpful? | |||

Sir,This is in regard to my wife's application for a passport in Passport office, trivandrum. The details are as follows:
File Reference Number : B00954908 Application Date : 18/02/08
Applicant's Name : BINI VARGHESE Applicant's Date of Birth: 30/05/77
I have already sent a complaint to both Joint Secretary, New Delhi and also to regional office, trivandrum, but to no avail.
Please do look into the matter.
passport service — Passport Given for renewal on 03/07/2009 still not dispatched
Hi,I have applied for renewal of my passport at Coimbatore Passport office on 03/07/2009 it has been six months now I still have not received my passport.
When I check the Online status of my passport it always shows the below quoted message.
"It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time
"
I enquired with the local police station to ensure whether the passport has been sent back after verification. They acknowledged that it has been sent in the month of july 2009 itself.
In the online enquiry form only the date of "Station COIMBATORE last updated on" gets changed remaining details remains same for the past six months.
For reference I have attached the screen shot for the online enquirey form..
I would like know when my passport would be despatched.

PASSPORT OFFICE — Passport not delivered even after 3.5 months
Hi,I applied for passport about 3.5 months back (25/9/2010). The current status shows 'Passport number J4786899 is allotted. Passport dispatch is underway' for around a week. I am getting married this month only and have to travel abroad immediately after my marriage with my husband.
I request you to expedite the process of my passport dispatch so that I can plan my travel smoothly.

passport — Passport did not receive
Hi,I have applied for passport in the month of december and all the related formalities are done by end of january. from then onwards the status of the passport application shows as pending delivery. This is pending from very long time which is unacceptable.

I, Gonamanda Prabhakar, had applied for passport on 06.10.2010. The enquiry for issue of the passport was also conducted. I SMSed to [protected] on 15.02.2011 and I received a message stating that Passport has been despatched on 02.02.2011 vide Speed Post No. S030970. Till to date I have not received the same.
I also tried to track my passport from the Indian Postal Department but I was informed that Speed Post No. S030970 is not correct and hence I request you to kindly look into the issue and arrange to inform me the status.
