[Resolved] Personal Loans — Wrong CIBIL reports | |||
I had applied for a loan at UCO BANK,BROAD STREET BR,Kolkata.It was declined with a comment that I have 21 loans at various financial institution.After getting the CIBIL report on 03.3.2010 under ref no:DD608006,member ID:BF99981005,I found several loans has been closed but the banks have not updated the CIBIL reports.Am I responsible for this type of negligence on the part of the banker's????????.The name of the banks who did not update the CIBIL report are: 1)AMEX. 2)ICICI Bank. 3)CITI Bank. 4)SCB. 5)ING VYSYA Bank. UCO Bank has asked me to get the CIBIL reports updated by the above mentioned Banks.How can I do that?Please advise. Was this information helpful? | |||

Personal Loans — Banks not willing to give a copy of the CIBIL report
Respected Sir/Madam,I have tried applying for a Personal loan from different banks however, I have been turned down with an excuse that my CIBIL report is not good. When I ask for a copy I am told that it's not possible.
I have faced this problem with CITI bank, HSBC, HDFC & Barclay's. I need to see the report to understand whats actually wrong with it & how can I fix it. This is all inspite of the fact that the CIBIL site states very clearly about the Consumers right to obtain a copy from the respective Bank.
