Today on 16th August 2019,
I taken a rikshaw from swargate depo (Pune) to my house around 2.00 a.m. I e. Night
The meter reading shows the 5.9 unit i.e. 95 rs.
But auto driver asking me to pay 50 rs extra. So overall asking me to pay 150/-

Hope some action on this.

Auto fare — Double charge of Auto Rickshaw

Dear Sirs
I travelled from Mumbai to Pune then I got down at Swargate at 3.30 a.m.
Auto driver asked rupees 80 for a short distance from Swargate to Vitthalwadi Pune.
I got in and I said that half return I will pay then he said it will be Rs. 10 per km. and half return on that.
I asked him to stop near Saane Guruji Smarak as the meter was running at double the normal speed.
Forcibly he took rupees 30 for a distance less than two kilometers.

The number of Auto is MH12 AR 8183. The date of travel is 18th Feb 09 morning 3.30am.

What should I should do to get him punished.

Hi,

I returned back today morning at 5:20am, n step out of the bus at shivaji nagar.
I hired an auto from shivajinagar to go to Shivaji putla.
The meter till i reach at my place was showing me 9.8km, and the card which the person was carrying shown 98rs. And according to my knowledge the Pune auto fares goes this way 1km 11rs and then from the 2km 9 rs per km.
But he said from 1st june it got changed n its 10rs now also the card he was carrying reflected the same.
And according to my knowledge in between 00 am to 5 am, its only half return that 1 need to give.
But he asked me full return saying that even this got active from 1st june 2011.
so in all for 9.8kms i paid 200rs this morning.
So could u tell me something unfair he did or my knowledge is lacking some whr???

I am disagree. you have to pay 150 Rs according to rule but you paid 200 rs.

There's a lot of daily suffering by auto rickshaw users in pune.
1) Most of the time they are not ready to go to the place requested even in the city.
2) The amount demanded is more than the meter reading. They calculate improper amount for the reading.

3) AFTER THE AUTO STRIKE LATELY WHEN THE RATES WHERE DECREASED, MOST OF THE AUTO METERS ARE MADE TO RUN FAST SO THAT THE USERS ARE CHARGED ALMOST THE SAME AMOUNT WHICH THEY PAID EARLIER.

4) Lately, i see auto meters havinf external wires connceting them. I dont understand whats that for and when we complaint about faulty meters they are not ready to accept. Some of them accept the complaints saying that its not properly working now. If you want you can get douwn of it.
Hence i would request the RTO to please have a check on this.

Auto Rickshaw — Self decided fare.

Hi there.

I got down at andheri and as usual there are number of auto rickshaws creating neusence by parking in front of the station near McDonalds, inviting traffic and cayos. Since i had a load of things my friend decided to pick one of them. I wanted to go to veera desai road. I asked Auto number MH02SA5551, and to my shock he pre determintly said Rs 40. I was shocked. I know Delhi is place of thugs, but it hurts my sentiments when Mumbai started behaving on same lines. I am born and brought up in Mumbai so i know what the fare and attitute should be. But this will invite to start new trends. I don't want that place where i live is defamed because of these Choors. I expect less from the authority to take action against them as i know 99.9 % are corrupted. But that wont stop me from trying. i cross my fingers and expect for a miracle for action to be taken against that auto driver.

Auto Rickshaw No.: MH-12 / QA 5736

Today I took autorickshaw from Salisbury Park (Gultekdi), Pune to my office at TRDDC, Hadapsar Ind Estate, Pune. The autorickshaw agreed to come on meter.

When I reached to Hadapsar Ind Estate, Pune, The meter has shown reading of 7.4 (equivalent to 55 rs), which daily shows 6.7(equivalent to 50) but I agreed to pay that. However, when I gave 100 Rs. note to get return of 45 rs he told it's 80 rs.I told why, he replied I will not get passenger from here. Since I was coming daily to office I told other drivers are taking as per unit. He angrily replied if I want to take remaining 20 rs what he wants to give or do whatever I can.

I didn't take even that 20 rs and decided to complain. Writing my grief here and hope it will be listened. The auto rickshaw no. is given above. My mobile no. is [protected].

The Rickshaw was hired from KEM Hospital Auto Stand to Nehru Memorial Hall. METER was showing 18 rupees fare but the rickshaw wala took 20 rupees.

Please take strict action on this as he is violation government rule and regulation.

And looted from public is an offence
