[Resolved]  Railway Protection Force — Dismissal of RPF Task Force -- Patna( Danapur Division)

In recent months, The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has launched a massive drive against touts and illegal agents engaged in procuring and selling railway tickets at different places under the five divisions of East Central Railway (ECR) & vigorous drive to check activities of touts at Patna Junction and other major stations falling under Danapur division of East Central Railway ( ECR) & for the same RPF Danapur Division had set up a Task Force ( Team of 7 RPF Personnel’s) to do this activity.

During the past 1-2 months, RPF Task Force personnel carried out raids at 32 unauthorized travel agencies located in and around Patna Junction and 8 people were arrested by the RPF team under the Railway Act.

During raids, it has coo light that none of these agencies have proper license or permission from railways to operate as the authorized agencies of railways to book computerized railway reservation-cum-journey tickets from their respective offices. Also it was complaints that touts and unauthorized agents were exploiting the unwary and
needy people charging big amount from them for giving confirmed berths in long-distance mail and express trains in danapur division especially at Patna Junction.

Earlier people have not been getting confirmed tickets in any mail and express train for Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Bangalore and Kolkata. People are not able to get tickets even under tatkal scheme for these places but after these activities & raids which were held in Danapur division, it makes drastic changes in Railway Booking. Peoples are getting tickets.

But now after being Raids, at Travel Agencies & Good result’s shown by Task Force, Top RPF Official’s had dismissed Task Force & transferred all RPF officials who were into Task Force to Other Divisions without any notice. It seems that they don’t want them to make these Raid’s to be held in this Patna or they want to make money from these travel Agencies???????

This is serious Issue where if some of the Good officials want to do some changes about corruption always this happen. Either Top Head Administration transfer this Good Official’s to other Area or suspends them from their services.
