[Resolved]  Ray Ban — Faulty product

I bought Ray Ban sunglasses from GKB opticals, MG Road Pune. After a few days, the right lens came out of the frame. It thankfully happened when I was not wearing the sunglasses. I took it back to the store, they fixed it and gave back to me. In the past 9 months, the same glass has come out 8 times. I keep complaining to the store and have asked them for a replacement.

They tell me that Ray Ban sales person is not coming to their store and they say that it might take anywhere from 3-4 months. There is no one to take responsibility of a faulty product and help get replacement. When I searched on the net, there is no site where I can voice this to Ray Ban directly. I do not know whom to approach. Someone please suggest.

I purchased a Rayban a month back from a CSD in Shillong. Day before yesterday, it fell from my hands and one glass broke into pieces. Can anyone suggest whether or not I can change one glass in Shillong, Guwahati or Kolkata?
Hi Friend i bought a Ray ban sunglass in Thailand this January 2012 and it has three color glass changing type and from the day i bought it was not fitting properly, the lens will come out while using, and the golden frame color got changed and i went to Optica Trader in spencer plaza he checked the glass and the shop keeper told it can be replaced but you have the purchase bill but don't have the warranty card for this, And he told the shop keeper in Thailand has fooled me and i dont know what to do kindly help me in it.

I am Sachin Kunjir. I would like to lodge the complaint against ray-ban company. I would like to state that i am being using this brand from last 15 years. Recently i have purchased one new Sunglasses containing model No. RB3025001/57 from Sheetal Enterprises located at Shop No. F3A, Kumar Pacific, Shankersheth Road, Swargate, Pune 411 004. Mob No. [protected]. In response to the same i have to state that i had given this model on 17/11/2012 for repair as there was some color damage to stick and it was in warranty period but nothing has been done to it and they are not responding to the same as more than 10 days have passed. As it such a nice brand i was not expecting this from them and i am just irritated about this. My Mob No is [protected]. Please help me out in this matter.

I have a pair of raybans which i bought like a year ago.
What is sad is that the lense film all off a sudden just started to wrinkle up...its sad to see a company like rayban has such issues with their sun-glasses even after spending 7000 Rs for a pair of shades.


Would await a response from the company to see what they have to say about their product quality

Ray Ban — broken nose pad

One of my cousin has gifted me the "Ray Ban TITANIUM -RB[protected]" and the glass holding pins were broken. I just want to know, where can i get those pins replaced? Thank you
I just took a new Ray Ban aviator and its model is "RB3025" and the aviator that they have given has one lens front and one back.It looks somewhat bent and one side of the lens is touching my eye lashes.Suggest me where I have to get it repaired because that shop which i have taken is closed...
I am wearing Ray ban from last 5 years, but the one which i bought just less than a year spend, the gold coating is rusted. Need a replacement as i remember that the coating has a 1 year of warranty. Help me out of this/

Bought a rayban glass from optic square in Vellore. There are white dots showing up in a black cooling glass. Optic square is blaming me. I feel these guys are selling duplicates. Vellorians beware of optic square.
Bought a new pair of sunglasses from the Ray-Ban web site, $317.00!
4 days later one of the lenses popped out. Went back to the site to start the return process and could get no where with their system. Called several times and could get no help. One of the reps hung up on me! Sent e-mails regarding the problem and got no response from anyone. After 5 days of that BS I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Let's see if I get a response now!
I will never buy a Ray-Ban/Luxottica product again! By the way... Luxottica also owns Okley. Scratch them off the list too!
Just purchased a ray-ban glass from dealer @ Chandigarh; v poor service and pathetic attitude of the dealer to handle the customer.

If this is way a ray-ban customer is been treated than nothing can help to get a better respect for any other brand.
At the same time the dealer who behave in this act of occurrence is supposed to be one of the best dealer declared by a Rayban representative. So this brand is here to just sell not to support.
