I also have a complaint re the mail out "CLAIM YOUR FREE SURPRISE GIFT" This is false advertising as there is no way to claim this offer so why advertise something you don't intend to provide to you contributors
I have been a long time member of ReadersDigest and am very disillusioned with which some of their advertising is being conducted of late.
Yours Sincerely.

I agree with all the above readers. What a let down READERS DIGEST! Not a good way to keep your readers. J.Glasier. acc. no. [protected]
I also have the same problem in New Zealand as Ken did. I get same "SURPRISE" and I suspect, countless others did as well...No site such as www.readersdigest.co.nz/giftrewards and no gift to view. I am prepared not to carry on with READERS DIGEST for all the [censored]e they say to enter into draws, sweepstakes, gifts etc!. Its a marketing scam and all turns out with a lot of sheep manure amongst it all. The Digest's Rectum must 'ave bin get'n crammed up to the hilt previously, cause they are still Spurt'n, Scam'n, 'n Push'n a lot'a Sh-t Marketing out. K.Wilson A/C [protected]

from a/c no. [protected] ... after all these years to be 'conned' by Reader's Digest. What a disloyalty to ALL your membership Readers'. I can not see I will be renewing this membership...this is too much, after having to put up with years of other 'junk' that comes in the post from R.D. - Really sad..!!!
I think when you send out a voucher saying" Claim your free surprise gift and hurry up because stocks are limited and then when the person who is already paying for the readers digest monthly gets a FRAUDULANT voucher they should terminate any dealings with Readers Digest and send out to all the people they are treating with such disrespect and hopefully they will lose custom ...M& G Breen acc # [protected] new zealand

Agree 100% with all the complainants.
Readers Digest is only looking after the customers in Australia.
Look at the list with so called winners. Once in a while you see someone from NZ.
I am considering stopping my subscription when renewal comes up.

have not received my jewelery ordered in the sweepstakes and its been 3 months i will sue u soon> it costs 4000
I have been the consumer of Readers' Digest India since 50 years. For the last 3/4 years I have been receiving thousands of letters / correspondences regarding declaration of Reader's Digest Sweepstakes Champion worth Rs.26 lacs along with some other prizes such as Chairman's Prompt prize and early reply prize etc. etc. subject to condition for purchase of some articles through VPP though it is told that it is not mandatory. But if not purchase you cannot be eligible to participate. However, I have been purchasing music CD, leather Bags hundreds of books and other articles. I have been declared by the Chairman Sweepstakes, Reader's Digest to be the winner of sweepstakes champion which is held every year. Not only that I have been declared as so-called Ambassador for the company. It is surprising that in most of the letters I have been declared as winner of 26 lacs but in some of the letters I have been declared as chance to win some other prizes. I had duly sent the required documents to the address given above but in spite of fulfilling the all requisites I am asked to purchase some other articles which of no use of mine. It is presumed that the practice which are introduced by the Reader's Digest is nothing but furse and to sell their articles. This is my complaint to unfold the true.
