[Resolved]  Reebok Shoes — Defective pasting on shoes

I bring to your notice the sequence of events which are self explanatory in eroding the confidence of a customer in reputed brand like Reebok:

I have been purchasing and using the Reebok Brand shoes including accessories for last few years with a confidence that it is the best availble brand in India. On the same pretext I purchased a shoe around one year back from one of your franchisee outlet in Kamla Nagar New Delhi.On using the shoe for the last few months one day I found that both the shoe have opened up from the pasting side.On visiting your franchisee in Kamla Nagar New Delhi and pointing out the defect I was bluntly told by your franchisee outlet that nothing could be done in absence of the Bill. My only question to your franchisee outlet was whether the bill was more important or the reputation of the company at stake, I was bluntly told that the bill is more important then anything else in absence of which the company would not entertain any claim.

After going through this very unfortunate sequence of events I have now decided not to use Reebok Brand in any form nor would I recommend this Brand to others.I would also suggest you to appoint your franchisee outlets after due diligence in order to protect your brand name and your reputation. Rigidity and Rude Behaviour of your franchisee outlet employees would only tarnish Brand Image and Reputation of your Company.


If you really feel concerned about this mail I atleast expect a reply.

This is for your information that I had purchased a pair of Reebok shoe from Shoppers Stop, Ansal Plaza, Khel Gaon, New Delhi on dated 8th March 2008, Bill no:3666; Store ID;105.
Sir, after its purchased I regularly use it for four months and the shoe's net part automatically got scratch.
With repair / replace request I went to Shoppers Stop, but they refused to take my request and said we are not provide any such warranty for replace/ repair. After a long request they very unhelpfully responded and noticed my complaint but few days later refused it again.
Now, sir as I am a regular customer of your brand and very much relay on it and always used to wear Reebok products.
I once again request to whom I may send my complaints so that my costly shoe can be replace or repair.
This is my humble request to kindly consider my request to protect the faith of a customer on your product.

Reebak — Defected in 4 months

I bought a pair of shoes worth RS 4690 .00 from reebok show room.
within 4 months its colour started totaly off as the colour is of blue strips and it becomes white sports
i deposited it in the showroom and the give me answer we cant do anything regarding this

i just want to request you that change my pair of shoes or give my money back still my shoes are in showroom and i will not take them back till my requested will not get in my favour

Subject: - Pasting defect in Sole of Reebok Shoe.

I have purchased a pair of Rapid fire Shoe Size No. 6 that is your latest series shoe from Shiva's shipra store, Indrapuram, Ghaziabad and paid a bill of Rs 4000.00 on 22.08.2008 .I have started to put on this Shoe from August 26 in regularly. On 25th Sept, 08 when I was addressing a meeting at Noida suddenly I felt uneasiness in my Right side leg due to open of Sole Paste of Shoe.
Again I contacted the above said Reebok Shop on date 05-10-08 and they took my shoe and told me that we will send the same shoe to company for claim.

My friends suggest me that do not purchase reebok shoe, but i did
If Reebok company is not able to lauch good products in markets so my suggestion to reebok company is just stop launching new product and shut down your businees
I therefore request you to kindly solve my problem as earliest from your end.

Reebob — shoe got torned in just 25 days

Dear friends I i bought a reebok shoe(model-ascent) from Bangalore *(Store #144, Empee Apparels, Commercial sreet) on the date of 10/08/08 and back side of both got torned in just 25 days.i had contacted the same retailer and he told me that the shoe will be replaced in 20 days.as per that i had given it back to retailer(26/09/08-copy No:11694).I got the same shoe back on 03/11/08, almost after 35 days.The retailer told me that its rejected for delhi .when i asked the reason they told me its WEAR & TEAR.I am very disappointed with Reebok's service.After spending almost rs.2000 for a shoe, i am not able to use it even for 2 months.

Reebok — shoe sole is coming back while walking

i purchased Reebok shoes in november this year,
but after 2 to 3 times wearing it, i felt that sole inside one shoe coming back while walking,
when i complained it to shopkeeper from where i purchased, he behaved very much rudely,
I was shocked that after paying this much amount on shoes also they are not even ready to listen complain.
i asked him to give solution for this and he said i need to put shoes for 15 days to stick sole...
what bull sit answer he gave me..
But here after i decided not to prefer reebok even..
not also to recommend to any... :(
i dono what should i do for this??

Reebok — BROKEN SHOES IN JUST 4 MTHS

mY name is victor masih am from delhi...am very very upset by the service n product, staff of the outlets.i bought 2 pair of converse shoes 4 mths from an outlet from delhi thats at priyas.i went to put a complaint againt my shoes which is broken from every corner...i spoke to the exective who attended me last time when i bough the shoes his name is gaurav.that guy was nice n told me that if m not happy i can put a complaint n suggestion n feedback on ur website...and was helping the best he can.then the other exective name bhavna told me that i ned to talk to the store manager who was not available...i told her that i cant wait n come bk again n again.but the other guys were trying to help me but the grl called her manager n complaint against that guy gaurav...that guy was chucked out the same time.i think the manager should have come n asked n spoke to everyone...this was was the worst service i ever saw n got on such a loved brand REEBOK.

Reebok — top net get torn in 3 months

I purchased three pairs of reebok shoes from reebok store, the mall, Musooriee on[protected].
One pairs top net got torn in just three months model R214399 USA8
I tried to contact the company's person but didnt found any contact number nor any e-mail id or any sort of complaint suppot on Reebok's website.
I tried to get the company's person no. from reebok store the mall, ludhiana & from chandigarh but no body gave me the number of any of the company executives.
i have purchase one reebok shoe from (PAHCHAN TWIN TOWER HATHWA SOUTH GANDHI MAIDAN PATNA-800001) ON 05/10/2008.After 15 days in both shoe to see that the shoe upper has got torn where it is pasted to the.Then i have contact with local dealer but he said i cant do any thing in this case.

I have already submitted my shoe on that dealer on 02/12/2008

So i request you please take necessary action on this case.

i am the regular user of reebok shoes.i recently buy a shoes from a reebok franchie of haldwani(uttranchal)of the cost of Rs.1299.00.within 5 days the pasting of the shoes brokes and we intimate to the delar of reebok with is chandra interprises of haldwani(uttranchal) in the time but we are late to present it phically on time b.coz i gone out of station.the delar refust to change it and doin missbehave with us.please send me the posssitive answer otherwise i am going to the consumer court.the bill no .of the cash memo no.is 3309.
Its totally regarding quality provided by..Reebok. What a name it sounds like but when it has comes to quality i dont have any thing what i can scratch freshly.quality of commidities for a manufractrurer always been a biggest concern but on the top of that CUSTMER'S VALUE is always being placed. My complain is something that is related to the customer values.here it is...

I boutht a pair of shoes on 9th nov 2008 from one of the showroom situated in JM Road, Pune.The shoes got worse even less then a span of a month(athesive got worse).Then i left it a the shop for Repair and i got it back in more than expected time.But certainly that does not matter but again the adhesive got loosed and front tip of shoes got opened.There in again a went to the showroom where i bought it from, some sales schemes were going on there at during that tanure.I asked the person taking care of customer counnter to take back shoes a i had been promissed by them they will take it back if the problem doesn't get fixed after first service.I went at counter and asked for the reversal of the shoes, the person first suggested me buy a pair of flotters what i can put on and then i can left my shoes there. i was more than shocked when i made a payment of the fresh pair and the guy was not ready to take my old shoes back for reversal as stating 'Its sales time we can not serve you noe, you can come somtime during day'.

I went back to the shop again a day later on monday while my duties back(came out during office hours), but surprised again when that guy was not ready to take the shoes back while explaining me the same rflimsy reasons.


here i would like to ask something if it really reches to the expected place.

1) Does Reebok only focus on Sale volume.
2)doesnt it care about it old customer.
3)Is salexs volume is more important than customer satisfaction.

with all these querry waiting you to revert back.

Reebok Sports Shoe — defect in net of shoe

I bought a pair of Reebok sport Shoes for Rs.2, 790.00, from Authorised Reebok Outlet in Katra, Allahabad, but within 1 months the upper net portion of the shoes got badly damaged.
I reported the problem to Reebok outlet, and handed over the shoes to them on 15.01.09, They agreed & accepted the shoes saying that the shoes will be replaced after company's inspection within the week, but when i went back after one month to get the status, i found that pair of shoes was still with outlet & they did not sent it for claim, but till date no action has been taken, and the attitude of their staff towards the post sale problems is pathetic .

For a reputed brand like Reebok, this sort of post sale service is not acceptable .

I hereby request the company to replace the shoes or refund my money .

In this world when everyone is short of time these international brands are safest bet when we go out for shopping. Thinking the same I bought a pair of reebok shoes nearly 3 months ago and to my surprise now there is a crack in the sole.Even when i have the bill the outlet guys gave a blunt answer that the warranty period is over and they can't do anything about it.I think reebok should understand that more than their product its their brand name what sells and incidents like these are like sheer jolts to their brand because not only i will stop using reebok from now but also would stop everyone around me from using it.

rbk shoes — yet not received gift

SUB : GRIEVANCE REGARDING RECEIPT OF SUBSTANDARD PRODUCT FROM REEBOK OUTLET LOCATED AT MUMBAI

Respected Authorities of Reebok panel,

This to inform you that I have purchased one pair of Reebok shoes (Model - GOAL TRAINER LP BLACKBERR/[protected]bearing size - USA-11 & UK-10 at a total sum of Rs. 2094.00 (Rupees Two thousand ninety four only) after 40% discount from M/s West End Shop, 234/236, Lokmanya Tilak Marg, Opp. G.T. Hospital, Mumbai - 400 002, Phone No.[protected], Email - [protected]@hotmail.com against their Bill No. B7-3775 dated 30 Jan 2009.

It is to intimate you that I have worn the shoes only for two days and thereafter I have cleaned the shoes with a damp cloth and kept under the ceiling fan for drying up. Three to four hours later I have found that the rubberised layer/material pasted at the bottom of the sole has been detached automatically at least 50% in one shoe and a bit of gap has been opened in the other one too. Since the shoe is under the warrnty period therefore I need assistance from your side in order to get the shoes either completely repaired by dismantling the whole rubberised layer located at the bottom of the sole of both the shoes and if it is not possible then kindly provide me authoristion to get a credit note bearing the same amount of purchase ie. Rs. 2094.00 (Rupees Two thousand ninety four only)by the nearest dealer to me probably available in Vadodara City of Gujarat, since I have now shifted in this city few days back. As a result it will be a great inconvenience to me to send the defective shoes in Mumbai at the above mentioned dealers address.

In addition to above facts I want to inform you that I have visited in various outlets of Reebok available in Vadodara City of Gujarat but every one denied to accept my defective shoes for further management quoting that some of them are only Franchisees of Reebok goods and few of them are Factory Outlets of Reebok shoes and their associated products and therefore these showrooms do not have any right to accept the goods of Reebok which has not been sold from their outlets.

In view of the above facts it requested that kindly consider my genuine case with sympathy and please mention about your authorised Reebok Company based Retailer/Dealer with full postal address, telephone numbers and email address those are available either in Vadodara, or in Ahmadabad cities of Gujarat which will be quite nearer to my place of residence and I could reach on such places easily only after receiving your directives.

I ve got the same problem. I too purchased Reebok running shoes and now they are torn from the sides when I ve barely started running. That is just unacceptable. Maybe I should have just stuck with New Balance.
