[Resolved] Regional Passport Office — Clarification on passport status | |
I have applied for my passport from niligiris district Tamilnadu which comes under The regional passport office Chennai.It has been almost 5 and half months from now, as i have applied for it on 16 june 2008 and completed my police verifications successfully on july 2008. When i happened to check the status of my passport on line it said that my DD was expired and a new DD should be submitted to the office.When i checked it with the bank which has issued the DD They confirmed me that that the DD is valid still and when i contacted the passport office in this regard i couldn't get a proper response or clarification from their side. This has taken me a long time till now to get a clarification or response from the regional passport office chennai. My file refno is:MASZ 70083708 Was this information helpful? | |

I submitted my application for issue of fresh passport at GPO, Nehru Ground, Faridabad under speed post passport scheme particulars of which are as under
Application No. 428527 Submiited on 9/10/2009
Draft No.292072 dt 8/10/2009 Amt Rs.1000/-
(As per enquiry from bank above draft have been paid on 24/10/2009)
file no. DLH W[protected]But as per receipt issued by GPO, Nehru Ground Faridabad it is DEL W[protected]Perfix differs)
Status shown on internet File Number wrong or information not available
Please advise fate of my application
