Sir,
I have been trying to get online registration for appointment from past Saturday ie., 07 june till date . I got the file no that is
1) FILE NO HYD[protected].D OF B-27/08/1988
2) FILE NO HYD 14946308 D OF B-27/04/1990
This are the application form to get the pass port and till now
I am not being given date and time of appointment, so as to process my appication. All contact by telephone is being "blocked", whether by day or night.
look in this mater and do the need full.

The same case with me. It is giving appointment on Sunday which is not working day.

This is software developed by NIC. It is not showing dates to select for confirmation of appointment.

Please let me know if you know anything that we can do with only File no.

Passport office Hyderabad — Problem in taking online registration date for renewal of passport

Hi,

I am trying to take the online appointment date for renewal of my passport but after submitting it generates the online web file no :HYDI17381408 and shows a message for tentative appointment but it doesnot display any date in the next page, just shows the month and year. Date list of values is empty. it doesn't allow to submit the application by just pressing the "confirmation" button assuming that whatever date shown in message is okay. there is no way to submit the application.


Can any one please help me on this how to get the appointment date.

This is a common problem with all indian government organizations. Their customer services is pathetic.

I have faced the same issue. I think one year back when this service was started people could manage to get appointments online. I had actually got appointment multiple times. But now I doubt if it works for common people. I am also not sure if the passport agents are playing some dirty tricks hand in glove with the Hyderabad passport office.

I have tried to get online appointment for my son with file no HYDI17178408. It did not work on 18 July, 2008. I sent an email complain to the Hyderabad email address(rpo.[protected]@mea.gov.in) as well as central government passport email address (grv.[protected]@mea.gov.in). Nobody responded to the complain. I was lucky to have spoken to somebody at the tele enquiry number 27708888. She said that the month is visible but the day is not because the available appointments for the particular month is exhausted. She asked me to try on Aug 1. I tried on 31 Jul and saw that the days can be selected for month of Sept. But if I choose any day there is a error page that is shown saying "The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request." Today Aug 1 again the tried and get the same error. I also tried to call the enquiry numbers and they are mostly busy and whenever they ring nobody picks up.

I think you can keep trying and checking everyday when the selected month changes from Sept to Oct. I feel at that point they may have some appointments available.

Alternatively try e-seva application submission or give money to some agent and get you passport.

With each of these incidents my belief in the following is becoming stronger

I too got the problem around 18 Jul 2008. I sent email complain to hyd contact(rpo.[protected]@mea.gov.in) and central passport complain contact(grv.[protected]@mea.gov.in). Nobody responded. Luckily when I called Hyd tele enquiry number 27708888, they asked me to try on Aug 1. I tried on 31 Jul and Aug 1. I am able to select day in Sept but when I try to confirm the appointment I get some server error. I called then today but nobody picks up phone or phone is busy.

Sir i have applied to the passport.when i have seen my staus in internet thya made a mistake of my name they enter my name as RAGHAVENDER REDDY NARLA YELLA insted of RAGHAVENDRA REDDY NARLA YELLA.So will you please guide me what i have to do.will you please send me replay as early as possible.

i feel there are un-necessary complications for renewing the passport. especially, to renew the passport so many things should not be required, as if v r applying for a new passport. amazing thing in renewing the passport, the passport office is not accepting as a supporting docements to renew the passport. out of 14-documents required to get new passport, same documents again are required to just renew the passport. it is not amazing and surprising?
A person who have passport/ or renewed twice earlier, still need to submit, all the documents. why our passport office not accept, the old passport as one of the assured document, issued by their own office, and give some relaxation for submitting other documents, just for renewal cases.
As the case for NIR's, sometimes v don't have our indian driving licence renwed, some of them don't have election ID card, as v r NRI's. and there no office in municipal to prepare id's for NRI's.
I request the passport officer to look close into this matter. and make the things simple at least for passport renewal cases.

It has been very irritating for me to simply only keep on trying an appontment for re-issue of expired passport through online registration more than 250 times during the last 5 weeks. The main passport does not entertain any such enquiries. Only two GPO's are designated to receipt of application and that too only limited numbers. One has to go and wait in the queues for registrations in midnights when there are no bus and auto facilities to reach these post offices.
In spite of so many complaints, there still is no reaction from the concerned authorities to these basic problems and needs. Where and when any solution would be in sight?

Dear Sir/Madom,

I am Chinnaiah Dasari, submitted my pp on 03.June.2008 and had the police verification on 19.Jun.2008. Still I did not receive my passport. I submitted all the necessary documents. I visited the passport office to enquire about my passport. They said " you will get within 10 days". Still not received. Please look into this negligence in passport issueing. My File No is A094142 dated on 16.Aug.07.
