Hi Sir,
I have applied my passport 3 months ago thru an agent. I have been trying to get an update from the Agent since a month. My police Investigation is clear and everything is in place. But my Agent says that there are no books available to print the passports. This seems to be a silly reason behind it. He mentioned that there are several people who's Passport has been delayed due to this reason.My Friend who has applied along with me has got his passport.

Kindly let me know the status.

I applied for the renewal of my old passport bearing No.B0654289 dt. 30.9.1999 issued earlier by the RPO, Hyderabad, through E.Seva centre, New Nallakunta, Hyderabad on 06.08.2009. The File No. of my application is A 63964 dt. 06.09.2009. Two months ago, the police enquiry was completed and I received a post card from the Passport Section, Cyberabad in which they stated that my passport enquiry report has been sent to the RPO vide L.No.497 / S.No.75 dated 19.11.2009. As my US Visa for a period of 10 years is affixed in my old passport which is still in operation, the E.Seva officials had returned my old passport to me after due verification. Although about 5 months elapsed since I applied for a renewal passport, I have not yet received my new passport for reasons unknown to me.
