[Resolved]  Regional Passport Office, Hyderabad — online registration not accessible

sir/madam,
I am Pratham Kumar Jaiswal, I submitted my passport with File.No.:HYDW25514408, dated:05/08/2008 with all necessary documents enclosed. I didn't get my passport till now. I checked my status in the website provided, the information showing is "others". Even i didn't get my acknowledgement letter. So, i request you to refer my file and issue my passport as soon as possible.

PASSPORT OFF HYD — MOST CORRUPT OFFICERS & STAFF

I can not believe that India can ever utter the phrase"Mera bharat mahan" Shame on HYD passport office, Shame on Mr BALA the passport officer whose prime job is to serve us but instead he prefers to serve the select ELITE of the HYD, by making himself available to them and not to anyone else. His office is a mockery, a classic place of corruption, I had visited the office in Dec to correct an error( apparently their own mistake) on a relatives passport who was to join on student visa in first week of Jan, with confirm tickets to Delhi for VISA appointment, noticing the error I was informed to pay the Fee plus some extra Tatkaal fee so as to get the mistake corrected on same day, to my utter horror after waiting for all day I was informed that passport cannot be given that day and it will come by mail after 15 to 20 days ... Adviced to write a note to collect the passport without processing ( of course I had to loose all the fee by doing this ) I decided that its ok to do so and get the mistake corrected later after visa in USA, to my utter horror next day No one would get the passport out from the file, and no one wanted to talk about it as the SO called lady had not come to work ... The PRO writes a note to hand the passport but the counter clerk refuses... Going back to PRO he tears off his own note and just ignore us as if we were invisible.
All attempts to reach the passport officer in vain as the girls sitting at lower gate keeps telling to first call and make an appointment .. but No one picks up the so called multiple phone numbers available for public, Finally after spending more than RS 200 on cell phone calls the PA to the Passport officer picks the phone but he is MUTI TASKING and keeps on saying one minute and than after about two minutes talk he puts me on ETERNAL hold for over 3 hrs, I am holding the cell for the fear of loosing him again so I hold and he never comes back on line ... I can hear him talking to many laughing and chatting to someone about personal jokes and crack but he does not find time to give me a moment ... What a disgusting Govt. employees we have... Finally my cell wears off and than the girls downstairs takes mercy and goes up to talk to the PA about my plight but she comes back and says Madam I cannot do anything he refuses to let me allow you up .. If you know any VIP please have the call sir and you will be attended immediately ... VIP ? What a shame that I need a VIP to call the STUPID PPO who does not know how to do his JOB right !!! Shame on these people ... finally the office closes for day and I leave for delhi telling the relative to pick the passport next day and fly ... Next day no one attends to him again and is told by one very nice person that he is wasting his time he should forget to see his passport for next two three weeks as the LADY in charge is very vindictive lady and she have suppressed his passport deliberately. What a MESS!!!
Try to see the status on line and find the passport is waiting for POLICE ENQ. PEnq, for what? to Correct a mistake made by your own passport office? for GOD sake WAKE up you people? the University cannot wait for more than two weeks so we wait for the PO to clear the passport in 20 days NO chance... Its still in same limbo... all the university fee paid is lost, not to talk of losses incurred on canceling air tickets... and time lost,
Its FEB now... relative goes to the PO and finds out that he should have paid agent who could get the passport faster out than anyone asks for RS 4000 which is paid, but than again he comes back after three days only to say Sir you should have given the PP to an agent in first place it would not be a HORROR story.. just now your file is deliberately put under P.ENQ and he can only make a complaint.
The guys sitting under Lok Adalat promises to send the Cops to do the ENQ, in about 10 days ... Lets see if now something works after TWO MONTHS of waiting there is no sign of passport, what kind of office is this passport office running ? HARASSMENT SQAD? Shame on him I got my passport under normal circumstances same day From chicago and washington DC if these offices can take care of the citizens here why can the Indian passport officers not work in HYD... I have dealt with delhi office ... BBY office and even ABD office never saw such a large scale corruption from top to bottom like in HYD PPO.

Hope someone will look into the dealings of that office and PUNISH the officers who harasses the ordinary public in all possible manner to show their importance and encourage the agents to make money as thats where they get their cuts.

If I as a NRI had to go through all this CRAP than I wonder what does the ordinary public have to go through every day... No one complaints as they are scared but I am not The ENTIRE HYD OFFICE NEEDS A REVAMP, The PPO is a place for getting help not harassment on all counts. i will update the final outcome of this passport, but I hope someone responsible reads my POST and takes action so that everyone who is a VICTIM of this passport officers racket is saved from his touts.

Good morning sir/Madam,

I am applying the passport in tatkal with verification certificate has been signed with Superintend of Engineer of Archeology Department.But your submission official r not accepting the application because bring the sign on there letter pad.But that Department id not have the letter pad.If i try to bring that which ever they have the letter pad, they r not signing.Because i am not well know person to them.Verification certificate means who do the sign well known & who watching me.So please how to apply.Is it the rule to bring that on only on Letter pad?I have get rejected 3 times till now.I have the job offer and have send the passport immediately.Please give me the procedure to get passport in tatkal.

Sir this is FOUZIA FATIMA, i had applied for addition of spouse name in my passport on[protected].my File No:M 004635.when i submitted my passport i was told that i will receive my passport by post in 10 days, but till now i didn't receive my passport.i want to know my passport status and when will i receive my passport.

I Don't Know will there be any out come or not, just to be self satisfied to make formal complaint, I know because even i am also Great INDIAN

If there is any trouble please let us know about it we will try to modify according to it.

I am also facing the Http 500 error while confirming the date. Did you find the solution for this. I am unable to get the solution. By investigation i found that this may be problem with Name field its not accepting the larger number charcters in the name field.

This is not a complaint but it is a doubt and querry. I have applied for re-ssie of passport on[protected] and my file No. is F007531. My request is that the last date for my passport was expired in Sept.2008 . Due to some unavoidable circumstances I could not sent my application in time for re-issue of passport. I got married in Sept.2006. I have attached all the necessary documents. There is also no change of address exscept Municipal door No. (old D.No. 25/201 and New door No. 25-3-358 which was reallotted by Municipal authorites). I have applied tatkal passport. with ANNEXURE ‘F’ and ANNEXURE ‘I’ on 27th Apr 2009. I need this passport very urgent because that I appiled in tatkal. in tatkal they told in 3days. today is 6-May-09. till now I didnt get my passport, from two dasy I am tring to cal to the number which they have given for enquiry. no one is picking up the call.the worst thing is, if they are not ready to attend the cal, they would have updated in online. online information id updated on 22-Apr-09. from 22nd no updates, in this how government employees is working?

i dont know who is the officer to arranging the passports .one day i went to passport office in secunderabad with my passport application & with all identify proofs there in passportoffice gate watchwomen said me to go to the postoffice i dont know it is passportoffice (or) any another office & afterwards back on my way suddenly one broker is come to me & he seed my applications & identitys he also put his hand to shut his mouth because that's my perfect identitys & who will enter to the passport office can u say me i will lesson&understand.

online status shows its been delivered on 24th April 2009.
we have been enquiring the post office every other day but they say that they have not recieved it from the passport office.
