[Resolved] Reliance Fresh — Wrong amount debited | |||
I had made a purchase of grocerries with Reliance Fresh store in Ayyappa Temple road, SM Road, Jalahalli Cross, Bangalore on 22nd March 2011 for an amount of Rs.267.50 (Inv. No.002616). I had used my ICICI bank debit card to make payment for which i got a message after a minute from ICICI bank about debiting the amount of Rs.267.50 to my account. After half hour I received a message from ICICI bank again that Rs.429.50 has been debited to my account from the same store (Reliance Fresh). But I was at home 20min before the message came & I was shocked to see the amount deducted from my account. Though the card was with me and I had not done any purchase with the vendor, amount had got debited to my account using my debit card no. I spoke to ICICI bank regarding this & I got a reply saying that its not their fault & they informed me to check with Reliance people & told there can be a problem with the swiping machine in the shop. After which I went to Reliance & told them about this, they disagreed and are refusing to pay me back the amount that is wrongly debited to me. They have the bill for the amount Rs.429.50 which is being paid by someone else (signed by another customer) but the amount has been deducted from my debit card. They are not even having the courtesy to reply back to us & inform the status, in turn we are going & visiting them everyday. Request you to kindly take serious action on this so that it doesnt happen with the other customers. Thank you! Was this information helpful? | |||
