[Resolved]  Reliance Fresh — Poor Customer care

I had a bad experience today with the Reliance fresh store based in gokhale road, thane west. Firstly they did not display that there won't be any plastic bags being give to consumers, then they go ahead and bill the products even without informing about the same to the consumer, when asked they say we have told the regular customers about it. Over and above that they have the audacity to tell the customer that you better bring the bag next time. This is utter pathetic on the part of India's biggest chain of departmental stores. What kind of service is this? When asked for a complaint book, they do not have one is what the answer comes. Rubbish. If they are stopping Polethene bags it is a good move but come up with a more innovative way of educating the cutomer than simply dadagiri. The manager the counter girl even the staff behaves in an unruly manner. Either do something about it or stop operating.

Shame on Mr. Ambani.

I am totally dissatisfied by the behaviour of Reliance Retail store manager Balasubramnyam (Employee id:[protected]. The manager doesn't have the courtesy to respect the customer. I haven't seen such an illiterate manager in my whole life and I am really shocked to see Reliance(Branch - Chennai, madavaakam kutroad) recruiting illiterate, abusive, irresponsible and urgent person. He straight away yells and about to hit the customer. He uses abusive language in front of all the other customers. this proves the kind of people Reliance retail recruits and promotes. I have been a regular customer with reliance retail for more than 5 years and I purchase groceries of Rs.5000 every month in reliance. For being a good customer I got tribally bad response Balasubramanyam (Employee id:[protected]. The recording of his abusive behaviour can be seen in the Reliance retail camera itself.
I have been monitoring this illiterate, abusive, irresponsible and urgent behaviour of the staffs in this reliance (Branch - Chennai, madavaakam kutroad) for the past 4 months and it is getting worse day by day. If the manager Balasubramanyam himself behaves in a very urgent manner, no wonder the other staffs will follow him. They don't keep any carry bags, or boxes at all. If they don't have they should have the courtesy to write it down in notice board. All the customers spend al lot of time to pick up their groceries and at last get frustrated when they hear an urgent response from the manager.( he says - If you want groceries you bring your own bags, otherwise you can go to other retails). There is another person who is responsible for checking the reliance card points and book vehicle insurance at the same store. He says who am I to ask his name and it is his wish to tell or not. I wonder why the reliance staffs don't give their names, are they so urgent not tell their names even? I know about 25 families have stopped going to the Reliance and moved to other retails.
I know my complaint won't work and it will be not treated as important because I have seen people raising the same complaints lots of time but Reliance retail hasn't done anything. The manager is so dam sure that no one from Reliance head office will ask about his urgent, that he claims to me that no customer can complaint about him and if anyone complaints no action will be taken against him.
I strongly recommend my friends, colleagues, neighbours, relatives and others not to encourage the Reliance retails business by purchasing their products. I have raised this complaint in consumer complaints, Mouthshut and other grievance websites.

I am sure that no one will call me to check my issue, in fact it's the issue happening to every customer in that reliance retail branch. I have come to my senses that I should not purchase anything from reliance retail shop.

The stores had an offer (advt in Press and through Brochures at stores )of one Maggi ketchup 200 gms free with the purchase of two Maggi Veg Atta Noodles but while billing the same was cancelled

The staff mentioned that the offer is unavailable When asked for a the complaint book they made me wait for half an hour and made me write INSTEAD in the Customer Home delivery note book
The store manager refused to attend the call on his mobile and not called back till today
The Customer service when called told me to contact store manager only
An email to customerservice @ril.com was not replied

This is the second time when attractive consumer offer was refused
Feel local dealer hotels buy attractive offer and fresh vegetables and left overs are given to direct consumers

After 24 hr of complain no reply from sales person, Mr Suman Jha. authorise person comes one in a month, then only he take action. When asked about the manager reply he is not avalaible.
