Reliance Netconnect — Reliance Netconnect, Complains not resolved, sent legal notice

Address:Bangalore, Karnataka

Hi,

I took a reliance netconnect datacard (ZTE device) which was working fine initially for few months. It then started giving problem, basically the device was getting heated up and stopped working. Though it was not stopped working fully but was working partially as i had to disconnect, wait for some time and reconnect. I gave few complains but they didn't take action. I told them very clearly if the problem is not resolved, i will stop the payment. Finally, after few weeks they sent one Engineer to my house & he confirmed the problem with device, the concern was immediately informed to the customer care. Then they said me to visit the ASC(authorized service center) nearby. I called the ASC and checked if they are ready to give me a new device. They told me "YES". As they didn't have the stock, i was told to come after few days(10/12). When i went to the ASC, they denied to give me a new card. They told they will copy the data to an old empty device and will give. I didn't agree with that as the device was within warranty period. I had informed the same to the person(Varun Shurpatne) i was in touch. Then there was no response at least over a month. As i informed them before, i didn't pay the amount. I told them to disconnect the service. I believe the service was disconnected as it's no longer in my name.

After that, i was getting calls from Billing department. I told them the issue and shared the complain numbers also. They didn't do anything either.

Now, few days again i got a call from Billing Dept saying they will send me legal notice and they sent it.

I request the authority to look into the matter and take the appropriate action.

Mr Varun,

The complains are with you people for more than 2 months or so and you people including ASC haven't taken any action even after Engineer confirmed the device as Faulty. I visited your ASC and they didn't want to replace it with a new device which we discussed. This is communicated long back, probably a month or so but there was no action.

Now, today(May 30, 2012, around 9 am) you called me and asked if i wish you replace the device. Where were you in last one month? Why this complain was addressed before?

You can see all my previous email communications. I had to stop the payment b'coz the issue was not addressed and a faulty device was sold to me.

I guess i made point clear. If you want i can return the device.

Hi,

I have visited you ASC(Basavanagudi, Bangalore) today but the ASC denied to give me a new card. I was told i will be given a new data card as my data card is within warranty. This ASC told me "New card can't be given, will copy the data to an empty card". Obviously, i was not ready for that. This card is not even 5 months old.

Well, i am tired with you people. I want you people to disconnect the service as you people couldn't resolve the problem in last 2months. As mentioned before, i will not do the payment also.

Hope i made my point clear.

Hi Varun,

As per our last discussion the ASC is supposed to replace the card and i confirmed the same with you.

I spoke with the ASC(Basavanagudi, near south end circle, bangalore) on 13th April. They informed that they didn't have the stock they will let me know. I called them again on 16th and then again today, the story is same "Stock not available". I really don't understand how come they don't have stocks for a week. Moreover, the way this ASC people called is not acceptable to any customer, they are very much arrogant.

I called the Reliance customer again today to convey the same discussion i had with ASC but the customer care executive said "they can't do anything related to ASC". Now, if your ASC is not willing to do their job, whose job is it to talk to them and follow the line?

Now, since this problem is going from last one and half or 2 months and still i don't see any solution of the problem, i want this is connection to be discontinued. Also, i will not be doing any payment b'coz this is going for a long time. Since i was sold a FAULTY Device i want my money back for the device i paid.

Hope, i made my points clear.
