[Resolved] Road Safety Club Pvt Ltd — Vehicle Insurance | |
I took a 3 year sliver membership (certificate no 940882) for my motorbike in 2006. I received the vehicle insurance from Tata AIG for 2006-07, but it has not been renewed after that. I tried calling the company (Chennai Number), but no one picks up the phone there. Please help me out. Was this information helpful? | |

I Vilas S. Zullurwar from Chandrapur received your letter ref no:-Tr.no. 504510 previously I have 8 year General Insurance Policy of Road Safety club, and now 8 Yrs are completed in these 8 yrs there is no any claim from any company, already I send all certificates and documents to you, then I contacted lot fo times but no reply from you now Chennai contact numbers not working so please contact me on my cell no and mail id [protected]@yahoo.com Cell no [protected]
HI Guys... M in the same same problem now. I enquired abt that insurance and they were telling that, the road safety club was handed over to ski insurance marketing pvt. ltd in chennai. plz contact them or contact the branch offices in ur cities.. i guess, our work will finish. let us see.

My membership No.from Road Safety Club is 90797 taken on 19.11.2002 and valid until November, 2010.
The last renewal I received was dated on 16.11.[protected].
The promotors, Shriram Group, when contacted did not respond favourably but asked me to contact the Club directly.
The earlier address of the club which was in Mylapore, Chennai seems to have been changed to T.Nagar, Chennai (as per the renewal letter dated 16.11.2006).
The Club has promised to pay the safety bonus after the expiration of the membership, if no claims were made during the tenure of the policy.
As I have not made any claim during the subject policy I feel that I am entitled for the safety bonus.
However, I am not sure to whom I should submit the claim or to whom I should contact.
Will someone guide me.

I totally agree with the reaction of the customers as I also did have bad experience.
The insurance was NOT done from 2006-07 to 2010, that is 4 years except 1-2 months in 08. Handed over letter to branch office but no action, even no reply. It is a clear cut case of cheating. It seems, the company has taken customers for a ride . It is also felt,
‘SHRIRAM GROUP’ are not bothered for ‘BRAND IMAGE.’ Will any one patronage the finance, insurance, engineering and other products of the group in the above back drop ? Certainly, I will not. Are the top brass of the company hearing?
