[Resolved] Rpo Bangalore — Passport pending for Police verification | |||
I Pavitra Trinethra Maras had applied for correction of Date Of Birth in my passport at the RPO bangalore on[protected], the file no for the same is BNGH00434710. The Current passport number with wrong DOB entry is H9517460. Service 7 The status of my passport, as online status page says " Police verification pending" I had applied for Date of birth correction and wanted to know why police verification is required for date of birth correction? Anyhow, I went for Police station today (mahalakshmi layout) they say they havent received any such details from RPO Bangalore. And asked me to go to Commisioner of Police, infantry road. There they say that they havent received any thing from RPO. Now, what should i do? RPO says its pending police verification, police says they havent gotten anything....please help! If i'm getting a new passport under reissue, then will my old passport number be linked to this new one? since i have all valid visas in old passport.H9517460. My name is Vijayalaxmi Nair and I applied for my Passport on 22/03/2010 under File No: A00663010 and my date of birth is 09/04/63.filed at Bangalore.
Till date I have neither received my passport nor any letter from your side if any query is pending.
I would like to inform you that I have shifted from Ahmedabad . How can I come to know that police verification has been done in both the states.
Kindly look into the matter and do the needful

Hello sir, this is chandrasekhar.p from bellary, my both parents passport i applied on[protected] but now i am recieving my mother Mrs. Sulochana passport only through speed post on[protected] . I don't know why my father's Shivraj.P passport not coming, i am checked the status in internet it is showing as a police verification report not recived yet, but here police station cleared my parents but in Possport office it is not recived saying then what i do tell me its urgent for me and my parents...we can reply me through my mail id as:chandrasekhar.[protected]@gmail.com
sir my grand father and grand mother pasasport is not issued .i have cheked on online it is showing pending because of police verification, but we have send police verification through police station .
sir please give information why our passport are pending .
sir our file number is G002004 date of birth is 05/06/1940, G002005, date of birth is 02/07/1975 and
G001883 date of birth is 10/07/1975. this above application is submitted on 17/03/2010.
