[Resolved]  Samsung LED TV — INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY

Address:Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra

I have purchased a Samsung LED TV from Indra Sound at Indra Square Market in Bangkok on 2nd Novemeber 2011.
Since January2012, it is not working and the service centre is refusing to repair it under international warranty.
I have corresponded via email with Samsung, but nothing positive is being done.
I was given to understand that as soon as one registers the product online, the international warranty is valid.

I have bought an 32 inch LED TV from USA on 24 November 2012.

It is not working with Tata Sky HD connection and even though it has an international warranty, the service centre is not ready to repair it under warranty.

I have purchased a samsung LED T. V from Kuala Lumpur, They tole me that, we need to register online for getting international warranty. How I can do it, please..
I HAVE PURCHASED A SAMSUNG LED TV FROM KUALA LUMPUR. UNFORTUNATELY I LOST THE INVOICE. SINCE 10 DAYS MY LED IS NOT WORKING.
NOW I DAY I AM IN INDIA (GUJARAT - RAJKOT) MY TV HAS A POWER PROBLEM. I AM READY TO PAY MONEY FOR SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. I DON'T HAVE ADDRESS OR PHONE NO OF SAMSUNG OTHORISE SERVICE CENTER IN RAJKOT. PLS SEND ADDRESSES OR CELL NUMBER.
Samsung is probably running a sham by saying they have international warranty covered in India but the Indian sumsung team is trained to ensure no one is able to get it - You cannot register it online because they will call you to speak to customer care who will not be able to get through - if by some stroke of luck you can get through - they will say Delhi will decide - Delhi will say do you have this document or that document and will look into it but in reality they wont and you will be running pillar to post and nothing will come out of the exercise until you are frustrated and give up - I feel if given the opportunity - DONT purchase Samsung products - I dont know about other products but the TV support centre is a scam in India - I will approach Consumer Grievance cell and lodge a complain and will share it on this forum so that we can all fight it together if it comes to that - because no matter how large a company Samsung is - they have to ensure they dont misuse their size to con customers.

Why the bloody hell should any document be required - It is a Samsung product, it has a serial number, they can trace it - that should be enough - if they make faulty products, they bloody well repair/ replace the damn thing.
Hi AmitKaria, Please share the document list which Samsung India team asks you to provide for availing International warranty. Am planning for Bangkok next week and want to make sure that I get all the documents required from the dealer in case I buy Samsung LED. Also do share the output once you complain to Consumer Grievance Cell. Thanks for your help.
Greetings of the day Samsung Team!
After reading all the above comments, I breathe a sigh of relief that I am not the only one who has issues with the Samsung people. We purchased a LED – 40’’from Muscat on 5/12/2012; please find the TV details below.

Details of Samsung LED - 40''
Model number : UA40EH5000R
Model Code : UA40EH5000RXZN
Type No : UA 40 EH 5000
Version No : AD01

Unfortunately the product we purchased is a defect and we aren’t able to view anything on the screen (display issue). I called up Customer care after checking the blue color warranty card provided to me at the Time of purchase, which clearly states that the List of countries where regional limited service warranty is applicable and India is one of them, it also has the customer care number to call and get assistance. I followed the same by calling the customer care and registered a complaint, got a ref number for my call as well – [protected]. When I verified about the documents that I have ( Original Blue color warranty card + Original bill/ receipt); The customer care agent assured that the services will be free and will be taken care off soon. A service rep contacts after few hours of conversation with the customer care, comes home and checks the LED parts and says your TV tuner is gone for toss… his words merely gave me an attack. He then asked for the TV details, warranty card etc. I had the bill and warranty card details ready which the service rep has a peek into and says I’ll need a copy to show that to my manager, fills the job code and leaves my place.. From then every day a person calls up and says Madam we need a yellow color card, we need a photo of the TV, we need the code details… They say we won’t be able to help you though you have the proofs, you will have to pay money and get your TV issue fixed… I am upset and confused as to what are your reps up to????… I had to lose my cool and yell at them as to what are they up to and playing with.. When there is a seal on the Warranty card for a year (Blue color which I have produced already), now they want me to get an International warranty card. God knows why you’ll are irritating people around, to get an International warranty card I have to fly to Muscat is it? I rather buy a new TV from another competitive provider with the same charges that apply for my visit to Muscat again….why you cheat your customers like this and you want to be a best dealer for electronic products by doing this? Please put a full stop to these dirty acts, look into the matter ASAP and help me get my TV fixed.
I also see another Customer of yours for reference please see the customer details below.. He has a similar TV details like mine and needs an International warranty card.. Request you to helps us out before we run out of warranty.. Which you guys are really wishing for so that you can demand and loot people….

Hi,
I have purchased a Samsung LED 40" TV on September 2012 from Bangkok. It was working fine for 3 months, but all of a sudden when we were watching it the monitor seemed to be half black and white. After contacting the dealer he is saying it is pannel problem, and we have to pay Rs 25000 extra to replace or get it repaired inspite of having Internatinal warranty for it.
Please suggest me what can be done for the same.

This is really very serious problem as per as Samsung brand name is there. I am using mostly Samsung product like Galaxy s3, Samsung LED Tv UA40EH6030R which I bought from Thailand same like of many of you have bought. The whole problem is "International Warranty Card". This IMP point we come to know when we bought TV Set in India and tried to register the product to Samsung Service Center. Samsung people must undersand that while we purchase the TV Set, we have bill. It contain name and our passport number also. That means product is purchased by an Indian citizen. I request all over consumer to take this issue to Samsung CEO. You can make a complain on link http://www.samsung.com/in/info/contactus.html . If we sent many complaints, they will understand our problem. Another way to put pressure is we can have a facebook page on this issue. We can connect together for this issue.

It was working fine till March 28th 2013 & unfortunately my product has found with a defect that there is no picture display but, sound is ok. I do not have my international warranty card with me as required by the service center in my location. (Shimoga - Karnataka - India)

I was informed by the dealer (Siamkomintr Co. Ltd) that the product carries the world wide warranty !!

Can you please provide me the international warranty card details with same?
I do not have any contact with the dealer directly, and I am currently residing in INDIA.

Your help is much appreciated as I am having trouble dealing with samsung service center INDIA without warranty card.
Could you fwd the required query to concerned team to help me out?

My LED tv is not working since 10 - days, any help is highly appreciated

I registered a compaint in samsung they are saying you dont the complete document i have also registered the product with the samsung . If the warranty document is that much necessary then y dont the INDRA SOUND provide the customers with the proper documents. This the fault of the shop and samsung and not of the customers.

Samsung is a company, see how many people are suffering,
This cheat company is fooling its customers by saying that their product have international warranty,
I had bought a 46" 6600 smart led tv from Indra, Indra had said that I will get international warranty, but within three months my led panel was dead and an amount of 45000 was demanded for replacement .
These cheats have one more style to make us near the cost, now they are demanding rs.5000 per service engineer visit for international purchased sets, the intention behind this is that the consumers don't call them and put pressure for warranty, as they will have to pay 5000 buck first .

A bloody cheat and fraud company
Purchased a samsung led smart tv from Thailand in the month of April 2013. There is some problem with the panel. The tv has stopped functioning. The company is not accepting warranty.
I would request samsung to replace my led panel being such a big international company it should think about the interest of its consumers.
