[Resolved]  Samsung Pixon M8800 — Touch screen not working

I have purchased Samsung pixon m8800 in may09. Initially it was working very well and the cam 8.0 MP was excellent. but now it started giving problems.the major problem is with touch screen. touch screen is just not responding it is freezed. it is happening quite regulary. I dont know how to deal with this problem. I dint expect this to be happen with a product of Samsung brand. This is defenetly a bad example for such brand.

mm8800 — pixon mm8800 not starting

the pixon is not starting normally. it is showing only welcome screen and nothing else. furthermore the pc suite is not recognising the device. turning off is only done by removing the battery.

Samsung Pixon M8800 — Given Samsung Pixon Defective Piece and now making excuses now and offering new CKT change and no replacement after 2 months of purchase

This is Iqbal Johar from Mumbra, i had purchased a Samsung pixon M8800 on 20th July 2009 from Thane. and within 3 day the Phone Touchscreen stoped responding but the hard keys were working, so the Service centre gave me the crap, and did some software patching and did not give replacement then, and also promised that if the issue reoccur soon, i would be given a replacement

Now again on 18th sept. my mobile again stop responding to the Touchscreen and the hard keys were not working this time, the phone could be power on, but could not be powered of[censored]ntil removing the battery.

The Phone is with the Service centre since 22nd Sept 2009, they have "CLEARLY DENIED REPLACEMENT" and are only giving the option to replace the internal circuit board.

I have had to go to the service centre every day wasting my money to hear, that they are still discussing with the Higher authority about replacement and finally now they have clearly denied replacement.

The responsilble are Manoj (service sentre) and Jagdish (samsung) from "SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTRE THANE, OPP. THANE WALA GARAGE, PANCHPAKADI" and i was informed that this is decision made by the Manager "Mr Jatin Vrinagama" but they did not allow me to talk to Mr Jatin.

I am working in Microsoft Exchange and i know that Customer service means providing resolution to customer as soon as possible and if we are not up to the mark we have to refund the amount that customer paid to get the job done in the required time.

In this case i would like to get a replacement for My Samsung Pixon M8800

I would like to complaint against Mr. Manoj and Mr Jagdish. and request you to please guide me as to where i need to make consumer complaint against them.

Hoping that you will guide me in the proper direction and a reply will be greatly appreciated.

I myself am experiencing the exact problem with my Samsung M8800 Pixon . I emailed samsung about it, and they told me i can ship it to them, but there's no guarantee that it would be repaired or replaced. I purchased my phone in May, 2009 and by September 2009, i had a phone with no response to my touch, excluding the hard keys. I'm living in Trinidad, in the Caribbean, samsung uk, seemed to suggest in their email to me that i must have bought my phone from the uk to get any real support and samsung us doesn't even carry the pixon. Help, anyone have any suggestions?

Samsung M-8800 — Not functioning after 3 months of purchase

I purchased a samsung handset M-8800 from Delhi in 2009 and used it occasionally. After a year it stopped functioning .In the month of october when it was sent for repairing in an authorised service centre Banderdewa(ASSAM) they replaced the touchpad at a sum of Rs 1700 which was paid to them. but still the mobile was not working then after changing the touchpad they told that it has to be sent to guwahati service centre .The ghy service centre reported that the IC of the mobile has got damaged and cannot be repaired.So what could be done?This is also a very costly handset which made me very upset as samsung mobile for me is very loving and liking. Kindly help me.Unfortunately the cashmemo is misplaced but guarantee card is with me.
