[Resolved] Samsung S5233a — Touch Screen Replacement | |||
Dear Sir/Madam, I bought a Samsung S5233A from The MobileStore in September 2009. Last 1 week, the touch screen is not working properly. I gave my phone for Servicing to a Samsung Authorized dealer in Gandhi Nagar, Adyar, Chennai. They charged Rs.1100 for Touch Screen Panel replacement. After replacement, I had difficulties with 'Drag' or scroll functionality. However, The Service Mechanic claimed that, the replaced Touch panel works only for Keypad and not work for Scroll or drag functionality. And Says, if there are more number of images the loading takes a long time. However, My 2GB Micro SD card has only 700 MB work of data. It was working fine with the same amount of data before the problem occured. Also, it is not the issue of Loading data but sensitivity to Touch drag movement. The Service Company is not ready to listen instead raising their voice with some stupid excuses and says the phone is working all fine. I'm planning to condemn the Samsung Phone and promise not to buy a Samsung phone in my life again.
