My wife, Smt.Kanchan Mishra was operating a recurring deposit account at SBI, Madhepura, Bihar.After my fresh relocation to District Lakhisarai, she submitted an application for transfer of this recurring account to Lakhisarai.She also submitted the Bank passbook.We frequently consulted the Branch Manager, SBI, Lakhisarai.On one day in the month of May 06 he asked my wife that he had received the papers and draft from SBI, Madhepura but as there were some controversies it was again sent back to Madhepura for correction.Till then I frequently consulted both the Branch Managers but with no concrete outcome.Now I have been transferred to Dist. Jamui and my present adress is Dr. N. K. Mishra, N.P.S.P., Sadar Hospital Campuss, Jamui.Requested to kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

SBI PO examination — delay in examination

This has become a regular phenomenon in banking jobs. You will see hundreds of aspirants waiting outside the examination hall for long (atleast one hour). I have appeared for upsc, ssc and some banking jobs. I could see this peculiar type of phonomenon in banking sector jobs only.

Last Sunday[protected] SBI PO Written Examination was a farce and I suspect it was fixed to favor some candidates who had paid for allowing them extra time and other sort of help. When we kept on waiting for long although the time of examination was mentioned 9.15 AM, the guard allowed a candidate in front of me. When I started asking questions for delay and needed explaination from them at the gate they allowed me to enter but were delaying the candidates to enter as if they were buying time. And when I was the first to enter I saw 3 candidates sitting in a class and when everybody in the school were tightliped as if something was cooking there.

In Banking exams the time is important in addition to your knowledge.So I suspect something was going on there and instead of 9.15 AM as mentioned in the call letter the exam started 10.00 AM. In addition the time gap between objective and subjective examination was 20 minutes wheras no information about this gap is written in call letter.
