If you do some investigation you will find this company is total scam. The government of India should shut this set-up down and arrest the people in charge of this fake and scam practice. Here is what we (6 o[censored]s) found out.

#1) just sign up a trial account without paying anything.
#2) when you log in upon completion of the sign up - this website will show you 100s of people on-line. The false impression they give you that all these green dotted line users are on-line and chit chatting. In reality it is FALSE and cheating you to become a paid member.
#3) Then you go and pay and you will see all those people you just saw - disappeared.

It is complete stupid website. Taking money from innocent people under the name of Holy Matrimony.

Hope some legislature in India take action and shut these guys down.
A KERALITE FLIRT

There are so many frauds, flirts and spammers in shaadi sites.
Shaadi sites are encouraging those profiles instead of blocking them.

There is one fraud from Kerala aged above 50 years. He is playing with the ladies in all shaadi sites. He talks like a gentleman. He sends 10 or 20 years old 3 to 4 snaps of him. If you ask some new one, he tells some bundle stories. He tells he is working in abroad and has some good amount of money and property in Kerala. He assures ladies that he will be going to marry in 2 or 3 months after taking retirement. He tells that, he is going to meet her personally at the earliest as he is returning to job to tender resignation. But he never meets the ladies, by telling one or the other reason. He will be postponing the meeting. But Till 2 to 3 months he will be in touch with the ladies through mobile or email by telling he is communicating with that girl only. (But he will be communicating 2 to 3 ladies at a time). Finally he tells that he got visa suddenly and he is flying and tells to wait for 2 months. As soon as he comes back after taking retirement, he is going to marry definitely. And he will be in touch through one or two mails and then disappearing. Finally a new profile in all Shaadi sites. The girl will be waiting for that fraud, thinking he is a genuine person. He is doing the same business since so many years.

He is roaming in shaadi sites by different names. He was in Shaadi.com by name Tony Philip (SH[protected] and Renjith.P. Both profiles are blocked now. Still he is created new accounts. Right now he is searching ladies to flirt in Shadi.com by name Renjith.P (SH[protected], in Jeevansathi (ZZTA1697) and in Bharath Matrimony (E2633966). Instead of blocking these type of flirts shaadi sites are encouraging them and making money. Because of these flirts real people are not getting benefit from these sites. Please ladies, be alert about this scoundrel. Don't waste your precious time.

I think this site should be banned. Plain and simple. IF this is not a scam site they should offer small monthly budget and screen all ugly ladies and liar men. They should ask current copy of driver license, birth certificate and employment verification and a recent verified picture using. Otherwise its all BS. Ripping off the uglies and the fools.
shadi is full of bunch of ni.gger bhench0ds from Africa . Scammer 419 frauds.

SHOULD I THINK SHAADI.COM IS NOW WORKING FOR INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES ...
TOTAL BS.

As mentioned in other reviews, Shaddi.com has too many fake profiles. Most of the fake profiles are from the USA. Here are the signs to know a profile is fake:

Photos can be pulled from any other social media site as well as
text. That and good creative writing. Only one photo, model style
photos that are exceptionally have a high amount of pixels, are
fake. Most profile photos are low pixels, to save on data storage.
Why are some people’s photos high resolution? It is not consistent.

Secondly, some of the girls are paid by shaddi to deceive customers. They have fake Google phone numbers, landline numbers. One
girl was confused about who I was, and asked me to send her my bio-data. One girl called me after a week or so, and said "It’s not working out" She should have said "It’s not going to work out. We just started talking on the phone a few weeks, getting to know each other. This was a better attempt to look legitimate, but it isn’t.

Another girl said, she has close friends that work at Shaddi, so there are no fake profiles. She was fake too, because I wrote her a nonsensical interest (I am a paid member) in Loren Ipsum, a fake language: Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Vivamus ut justo at mauris elementum sodales. She accepted the interest! How could she, I didn’t write anything that even makes sense.

When you email someone and they read it, but never reply. They are fake. Shaddi programmers change information on your profile, try to force you to give them important documents. Do not under circumstance give them your important documents. Do not become a paid member. Hopefully with mounting bad reviews of this site, we will see the demise of Shaddi.com. It is one huge enterprise of lies.
This is really disgusting site, i met a guy on this site his profile is Sandy M, a dirty mallu, he claimed to be a widowed and have a daughter, and he works in central government as chief auditor, current place is delhi, and said to be relocated to Bangalore, trusting him was biggest blunder of my life, i never make such disgusting mistake, but i did it, he said he lost his wallet and asked me to deposit 12k and he would return on 27th as he asked for a cash payment, i deposited 12k in his friends account on 20th August 2014, and became biggest bakra, he did not return my money on 27th, he said 30th he deposited, and he said he will be coming to banglore on 1st to apply for his lost debit cards as his banks are here, but i donno, his mobile is switched off and this [censored]face is cheated me. but i am not gonna leave him, i have already lodged a cyber crime complaint

Shaadi.com is a worst matrimonial site. I have paid 19, 000 and the people working in shaadi are Insane. They are playing with people's emotions. Mr.Anupam Mittal (CEO) of shaadi plz earn money in some other way. Do you think u can cheat people as u wish. Worst customer care. Chennai branch, Nungambakkam Branch has no human nature. Untill we pay the money the voice tone will be different. Once we pay the money staff become so arrogant. Shaadi is a fake and the worst company. They never call back they don respond nor they speak is a respectfull manner. Shree Lakshmi, Elizabeth from Nunganbakkam Branch are the worst human beings i have ever seen. Thry don fullfill their Promises. If their is really God, he will never forgive u people. U have to pay for ur deeds. My money is gone. No peace of mind from the time i registered in shaadi. People plz don fall into shaadi.com trap. My personal experience i have lost my money. Plz don waste ur money by registering in Shaadi.com
Hi I'm UK born and bred Muslim 35 years old, i'm looking for a wife anywhere in the world im on shadi.com my id is SH78142057 thanks
A unpaid member can see the contents of email send from a paid member ?
Many thanks to those guys who initiated this complaint section.

I have also come across such fake profile, there was a girl called Sonam Sharma, 26yrs, 5' 7" Punjabi, Hounslaw, UK. She sent me a message with her email ID...saying that she is interested in my profile. But it was not appearing on her profile that she is a paid member. So, I doubt a little bit, but I trusted her & continued. Over time she started making stories... like her father is died & her mother got 2nd marriage & left her, she was raised by her aunt. She is working with hospital attached to RED CROSS and she is in Nigeria at the moment. She is in camp & she not well now.. having some food poisoning & now she needs some medicince & some food. So, she started asking money from me.

I am putting all this story just because to alert you guys, because I just realized when I went through all of the above stories. So, guys.. be careful :-)

I have also heard that not only girls but similar fake profiles also exist posted by guys. So, be alert & be safe guys & girls :-)

Good day, thank you for replying me. I will love to speak with you on the phone but presently I am on a working trip with the SAVE THE BABY TEAM on a mission to war ravished countries in western Africa and we are going to be back soon.

I owe my aunt alot for the impact she made in my life...the most memorable day of my life was when I lost that my aunt to the cold hand of death. Actually I was posted to west Africa after our mission in Iraq and Sudan. So SAVE THE BABY posted me and a SAVE THE BABIES team to come down one country called Nigeria in west Africa. The people are so lovely. Oh I wish I had someone back home to talk but unfortunate i have no one. My parents died when i was 12 on an auto car crash.

Swindled off my money and asked for unwarranted very private personal information.

Beware people! I'm from Australia. Shaadi.com is an organisation that has defrauded me off my money! I made the mistake of opening up a trial membership with them. After that staff from Shaadi.com incessantly harassed me through emails and other communication to buy a membership through them. I buckled under the pressure after a while and bought a 3 month subscription. Approximately 1.5 months into my membership term my membership was cancelled without any notice and without any reason or notification provided to me. When I enquired over Live Chat on the Shaadi.com website as to the reason why my paid subscription had been cancelled I was given no reason other than its our policy that we can require personal information from customers whenever we want. I was asked to provide a photocopy of my passport, driver's license, proof of work and where I work (payslips) and photocopies of my degrees. I was horrified at the prospect of sending my private details to a dating organisation who had no legal requirement to request such information. Concerned for my privacy and my identity being stolen, I refused to provide Shaadi.com such very private details. Shaadi.com already had my phone number, credit card information and my pictures on their database - they had absolutely no need to ask for my private information. It is none of their business where I work, how much I earn, what passport I have, my residency status or where I live. Request for such information is a breach of privacy and for all I know could lead to identity theft. I explained to the consultant that Identity theft is rife all over the world. In Australia, the authorities routinely discourage Australian Citizens to send any personal information to anyone online including photocopies of our passport, driver's license or photocopies of our degrees or employment information. The consultant would not accept my opinion. I asked him for a refund for the remaining term but he refused to reimburse my subscription monies for the unused portion of my membership on the grounds that if I do not provide my private information as requested then it is Shaadi.com policy not to refund the remaining subscription fees. Since my complaint to Shaadi.com I have found the internet to be littered with complaints similar to mine. I do not know why Shaadi.com is allowed to conduct business as their activities are against ethical and fair practice. I have found Shaadi.com to have engaged in unscrupulous and fraudulent activities when dealing with me as a customer. They have essentially betrayed my trust and swindled me off my money! I would strongly advise other innocent people to reconsider doing business with Shaadi.com. To say that I am disappointed in Shaadi.com is an understatement!
Beware of fake profiles on shaadi.com. One with this profile picture had contacted girls and robbed them of their money by saying that he is in dire need due to some business reasons. And when you two are going to marry each other, trust and honesty should be there in a relationship.. Don't ever get into that kind of manipulation and lend your hard earned money to anyone !! He ran away and will never get in touch with you and will never respond when it comes to returning the money. His name is: Kunal Joshi from Delhi / Gurgaon, self-employed in Dubai (which might be fake too!)

Shaadi.com does have many fake profiles o[censored]SA and Canada men and women. It is important for people to go on Google and check Linkedin, Facebook, Google Plus, Yellowpages Phone, Intellius, and other sites to verify if a person is fake or not. I have come across several fake profiles by doing a background check and I reported them to Shaadi which the profiles were removed. Some of the profiles seem authentic based on pictures, nice description of the person, and other things fooling people thinking that the person is real, when they are not after doing a background check. Some of the Shaadi fake profiles are paid members too who lie about themselves completely or some information about themselves. There are real people on that site who lie about themselves posting old pictures of themselves instead of recent ones, lie about their salaries, or job titles, and so forth. They think these lies don't matter. Any profiles that you see as fake report them and make sure Shaadi removes them so other people don't get fooled. I also wanted to say men and women on that site demand a lot wanting a beautiful/handsome, a person who makes good money, a certain type of job or status, and so forth. People are very demanding and stick with their high standards of what they want in a future partner. A woman who is short seek men who are at least 5 ft 10 in and above. There are women on that site who have a long list of criteria of what they desire in an ideal man and average men are declined faster than the speed of light. Women (pretty or average) are attracted to men who make a lot of money, status, and have good looks basically wanting Prince Charming. You will see women posting pictures of themselves in makeup with red lipstick and so forth trying to compete with other women in the looks department and attract men. The men should ask for photos where the women have no makeup to see how these women look without makeup and see how some women without makeup and with makeup is like Night and Day. Some of the women have a dating history like the public telephone book with men. You will see photos of the women at pubs, clubs, bars, or some place wanting to give men that impression that they are the hottest thing and popular. In regarding men, average looking women are get less invites and majority of the men focus their time and attention on good looking women and women with certain jobs like doctors, pharmacists, and so forth. Men who claim to be athletic when they are not and the pictures of them show you that they have a belly. There are men who also demand a lot in their ideal partner and when you look at their age that they posted 35 years and above and see how they are looking it shows that they will be searching for a long time. It's no wonder the men can't find their partner because they are demanding. If you are an average looking person male or female you get more declines or people ignore you completely. There are Authentic profiles or real people on that site, but the people demand so much of what they want in a partner. Honesty is the best policy.
