Installation for my new Sony Bravia EX 41 42" TV.
I called up Sony India on 28.04.12 at around 11:30am. The call was attended by an by the name of Ritu Priya. I told her that I would request some Sony technician to help install my new TV. I have not purchased the TV from India, but I DO HAVE ALL DOCUMENTS ALONG WITH THE INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY FOR THE TV. Hence I said I am willing to pay the installation charges and all other applicable charges for the same. Ms. Ritu Priya bluntly refused and said that Sony India will not install the the TV as it was not purchased from India. I asked her to transfer the call to her supervisor who could understand what I was trying to say. Ms.Ritu Priya said as it was a Sunday there was no supervisor/manger on the floor hence the call could not be transferred. I am immensely irked by the girls attitude and non-willingness to help. I wrote to Sony India the same day, narrating the incidence, but in vain. Till now I have not received any reply.
This is the last thing I would expect from a company of Sony's repute. Can anyone please help. Was this information helpful? |
