[Resolved] Sony Bravia LCD TV Model KLV - 32s200a — Defective set

I had purchased the subject LCD TV from M/s Behl Associates Dehradun (Unit Sl. No.6802697) on 07.09.2007. After exactly 2 years (on 07.09.2009) it developed a snag. i immediately called on M/s smile Care (sony authorised service Centre in dehradun) and I was informed that its panel is to be changed and the cost of repairs is Rs.25000/-. Now who will bear this huge cost of repairs. I requested Sony Customer Care and no response was received from them for the last One Month. Who will buy such products from the market. Sony claims that they are selling the best quality products but I warn every body to think thrice before going for such products. I personally feel that it was a china product and lived its normal life. after rceving no response from the manufacturer I was forced to collect the unit and am palnning it to sell it a scrap vendor for a few buks. Dear Sir,
I have a Sony Bravia TV from Dubai.It was functioning prpperly since the last three years[protected].But now, , just yesterday, a problem arised in our TV.The problem is- It is switching on but after 3 seconds or so i.e. before the picture comes it switches off.
Please check what is the error and let us know.

My dad purchased a KLV-32S200A (LCD) TV 5 years back now only half of screen is visible rest of the screen is blacked out. I am extremely disappointed with the sony product as he has invested almost 65000 and for repair they are asking 15000 such is the attitude sony and they also make sure the people avoid repairs

I AGREE WITH THIS I BOUGHT SONY KLV32S200A MODEL 2007 The problem is- It is switching on but after 3 seconds or so i.e. before the picture comes it switches off I CALL SONY SERVICE TECHNICIAN TO REPAIR THE TV HE TOLD ME THAT MOTHERBOARD AND PANEL MAY BE THE PROBLEM EVEN HE COULD NOT ABLE TO FIND THE ACCURATE PROBLEM IN THE TV AND HE GIVES THE ESTIMATE BILL OF 30000 RS (THIRTY THOUSAND RUPEES) TO REPAIR THE TV . SO MY ADVICE IS PLEASE DONT BUY SONY PRODUCT
