Dear Sir,
I own a Laptop FE890 which I procured from US in 2007.
I had a problem with DVD drive & Wi-fi not working, but the laptop was in working perfectly fine. Hence I gave the laptop for service at Sony Service outlet in Rajajinagar, Bangalore.At the time of taking the laptop they mentined that they need to recover the harddisk and needed my consent on that. I was open for it as i wanted my laptop to work properly.
Couple of weeks later they called me up telling that the harddisk has failed and hence the recovery did not happen properly and told to me change the harddisk or take back the laptop in the same condition I gave.
So finding the hard disk to expensive to invest and thought of taking it back.
When i went to take my laptop, it was completely conked off. In the sense it was was not in the condition i gave. They said they will check and come back to me later.
After a week they called me and said that the mother board is corrupted and the laptop is totally off.
I was petrified and send mails all across the cusomter service of SONY for help but of no use. One fine day one of the executives called me to tell that they can repair the laptop at the discounted cost of 30,000 rupees else would have costed 54,000rupees.
I dont know what to do. I have the related service bill details with me.
