[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson G900 Handset. — Poor Quality Product.

Dear Sir,

I purchased G900 handset of Sony Ericsson on 18/04/2009, within three month o[censored]se i faced problem of TOUCH SCREEN NOT WORKING on 28/06/2009 and i submitted the same in Authorised service center.

After continous follow ups i got it repaired on 12/07/2009.

On 16/07/2009 angain i faced problem of HAND SET GETTING HANGED. on 17/07/2009 again i submitted the same at authorised cervice center.

There is no reply of my mails from sony ericsson, the call center persons are not even ready to provide Sony Ericssons India Head Office Address also.

I need my money back as this is defective product having quality problem.

Please guide me in this matter.

I bought sony ericsson w705 mobile phone for Rs.16, 000 on june 10, 2009.
The phone had poor picture and sound quality when i bought it and then on september 9, 2009 it stopped working.
I took it to the service station at haji ali and i was told that the phone will not be covered under warranty as it was damaged by liquid.On asking them what they meant, they said that the phone was damaged due to my sweat.
I feel that it is an absurd proposition since a phone is not supposed to get spoilt by sweat.And its only a few keys on the keyboard that arnt working.
After fighting for 3 days, i finally agreed to get my phone repaired by paying for it.The cost told to me as Rs.850 and i was to collect my phone after 3 days.
I called the service station after 3 days and was told that the cost would be Rs.1755 now.
I was not even informed about it.
I refused to pay since if that is the problem, the phone is going to keep getting spoilt over and over again.
The staff is obnoxiously rude and when i asked them for the address of the head office or any senior authority i was very rudely denied the same.
I sent an e-mail to the e-mail id that i got from their helpline number and got no response.
The phone has been with the service station for over 15 days now.
The are denying me my right of knowing the registered office address of a company from which i bought an expensive phone in good faith.
I am receiving no support from the company whatsoever and many a times they dont receive my calls.
I am disgusted with the after sale service and the company alltogether.
I really need help and fast.
