I had purchased a Sony Eriksson mobile K-790 on 31/08/08 from Anupam stationeries Borivali (W) (copy Attached); this phone is covered under the company warranty for one year. The phone had recently faced a keypad related problem for which I had got it serviced from the Sony service centre at Borivali (W) namely S.G InfoTech.on 27th March 2009 (copy Attached).
Within days of its repair the same problem cropped up again, I had visited the service centre again to get the problem resolved. But at this time i.e. on 16th Apr 09, I was told that the problem is because of water logging in the phone and has to be repaired at my expenses which amounted to Rs 650. I strongly disagree with the reasoning provided as the problem which I had faced was the same as I had faced earlier and the question of water logging does not arise as I have never dropped the phone anywhere and nor is it a rainy season for the problem to occur. I strongly believe that there is some manufacturing defect in the phone which the company personnel are trying to hide and unnecessarily troubling the customer.
I therefore request you to help and get the company repair my handset which is under the warranty period. Was this information helpful? |
