[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson P1i — CHEATING

I have purchased Sony Ericsson model P1i, in the month of January 2008, from Sony Ericsson Experience Store, Shreeji Communication, Anand.

After say 3-Month I had a problem of hanging and immediately i rushed to your Sony Ericsson Experience Store, Shreeji Communication, G-%, Silver Oak, Opp. Swayamwar Party Plot, Anand-V.V. Nagar Road, Anand – 388120 and they have given me solution by just out the battery from unit and again put the same in same position i.e. shut down mobile by easiest way.

Said problem occurred three times and same manner problems were sorted out, as per my opinion this is not the solution to solve problem, at that time they have to re-install software.

Further, the same problem occurred recently on dtd. 30/05/2009, the same dealer informed me now we will re-install software and they have done it and charged Rs. 250/- for this, since my mobile is now out of warranty, just 4-month over on guarantee period.

I really very upset and I felt that SONY ERICSSON has cheated me, which is not fair.

I am ready to pay what your charges for updating software not for re-installation, re-installation of software is FREE, and I also know on your site updating of software is free, without any charges.

If some one buy your product worth Rs. 20, 000/- and if some minor problems are there in your instrument because of your software set up, then you have to help out your clients and approach of your representative also be good enough to help clients, not only money, money and money.

I also know from my complaint no one in your company will take corrective actions, every one look each other face and concluded that all customers are like these only.

IF YOU SATISFIED ONE CLIENT, THEN HE WILL TELL OTHER 10 CLIENTS, FOR YOU 10 CLIENTS ARE NEW, BUT ONE UNSASTIFIED CLIENT WILL TELL OTHER 100 CLIENTS AND ULTIMATELY COMPANY WILL BE AT LOOSER END.

sony ericsson P1i mobile — sony ericsson cheating customers

Hello Sir,
I had bought Sony Ericsson mobile; model “P1i” last year on 16th August 08.The mobile’s cost was 17800Rs. After exact 1 year and 15 days the phone started giving trouble. The touch screen of the phone stopped working. As most of the functions of the phone were controlled by touch screen so I started having tough time to use it. On 2nd SEPTEMBER 2009 I went to Sony Ericsson’s authorized service center located in Dwarka sector-12, near Dominos pizza in Delhi. There they first tried told me that touch screen of the phone would be changed so it would take 15 days and they gave me the budget of 1200Rs. So I deposited my phone with them. After 12 days I got a call from sony ericsson that the touch screen of the phone has been changed but its still not working so they need to send the phone in level 3 so they need my approval. They also said that budget has also increased from 1200 to 1800 and it will take 1 more week. I gave my approval, as I had no other options. Now today on 25th September 2009 I went to service center to inquire about my phone than to be shocked I was told that the phone couldn’t be repaired because the touch screen of the phone is not available in service center so I can collect my phone after 10 more days and that also unrepaired phone. Now I have few questions
1) How can Sony Ericsson cheat their customer like this? I bought this phone @ 17800 Rs and after just 1 year company is telling that the phone cannot be repaired by even them because they don’t have the part. Than why did they manufactured such product which works for only 1 year and that also cannot be repaired though customer is ready to pay for it.
2) Now I cant even sell this phone because nobody would but a mobile which is not working properly and cannot be even repaired. So would sony ericsson would buy this phone from me as they are the one who manufactured a product which cannot be repaired.
3) After paying 17800Rs for their product can they just easily walk away because the phone is not in warranty?
4) If yes than does it means that the life of their product is just 1 year?
5) Why should we buy a good branded phone than? Shouldn’t we go for a Chinese one or the local one?
6) I have asked them to give in written that my phone cannot be repaired so that I can file a complain in consumer court because Sony ericsson cannot make fool of the customers
