I wish to mention that i have purchased Sony Xperia X10i IMEI No. [protected]
in the month of Aug 2010. since the day of purchase the handset lies in the service centre of Sony Ericsson. Such a third class company. i have never seen in my life. Top to bottom the management is shameless. Service manager big lier. below are the copies of communication i sent to them by email and their service manager revert. He told me the handset is having a problem they will give me a replacement. i told them for my money back or to give a new model xperia arc i i was read to give the diffrential what soever they refused they said we will give the new handset of the same model. i told them i want a box pack piece they refused again. I told them i will go to conumer court. they are not bothered for that also and nobody from the top management also bothered to revert.
Tommorow i visited their service centre for the replacemnt they told they will not give they have repaired the handset this is a menatal harrasment to its customers. i told them that top managment has agreed for a replacement they told no we have repaired the unit.
Its shameful. please help. they are such shamefull guys dont listen to its customers and dont affraid of consumer court also.

This is to bring to your notcie that your all india service manager told told me that the phone will be swaped but the executives at the service centre told me that the charging port has been changed they will not change the phone. its so many times i have deposited the phone.
I dont understand what kind of company sony is. senior is saying the phone will be swaped and the service centre is saying something else.
This is really shamefull harrasing a customer so much. i have never seen an Unethical company like sony where seniors dont bother to respond to customers.
I will for sure not recomend any of your products to my friends and colleagues. i have written so many mails to you and Mr. Sethi but no response.
This is shameful such a big company and name and such a response time and commitment to its customers.
Please see may be your people are not following your instructions. really i am very disappointed buying sony product and spending Rs. 27000.

Such a quick response :-) thank you for the same. but still i am very much keen in geeting a refund because i have friends of mine who have taken xperia and they also complain that on 2.1 also it lags and hangs. i am well aware of the fact that sony gives high quality products and is a well know comapany i am also a fanboy of sony but the problems i have faced is taking me a bit away from it.
if possible for you i can suggest the swap with xperia arc i will pay the differential if any. since i am a sony fanboy i dont want to switch to any other company.

X10i is one of the premium product from Sony Ericsson and is sold in large nos in India, we have many satisfied users and is currently one of the largest selling Andriod based phone in India.
As I can see from the record, the unit is purchased by you in August 2010 and has come for software update in March 2011.
I am sure after the same is swapped , it shall continue to provide your flawless service.

Thank you very much for your reply. I wish to mention that i had such a bad experience with this handset and i am really not very much interested in swap. This is the worst Android phone i have used. So much issues in such a short span of time. i have taken this by spending a big amount and will not mind spending one or two thousand more to get Xperia arc if i have to go for sony only and if not i will buy a HTC. i have faced so much trouble with the handset as well as service which is hard to explain. i hope you can understand the pain and agony of a customer.
I wish to mention that i will really apprciate the refund.

Sony Ericsson — third class product and poor services
DEar sire,i have taken sony ericssion make phone W-700i 8 months back. Its not working from last 3 month and lyeing at service center. They are not repairing my because they dont have parts. After 3 month my warranty will get over. Just tell me the solution. Even custmer care of sony is very poor.
please help me out regarding this.
