THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT.THIS IS ONLY TO REQUEST YOU THAT I HAVE A SONY HANDYCAM (MODEL NO. DCR HC-42E) FROM MARCH 2005.BUT UNFORTUNATELY, THE LCD GOT DAMAGED WHICH I HAVE GIVEN TO A SONY SERVICE CENTRE, (AT 32 HAZRA ROAD, KOLKATA700029) FOR REPAIRS.SINCE THE GUARANTEE PERIOD WAS FOR THREE YEARS AND I HAVE NOT TAKEN THE FACILITY IN THAT TIME, SO I WANT TO KNOW WHETHER I CAN OPT FOR THE GUARANTEE FACILITY NOW.THEREBY I REQUEST YOU TO WAVE THE SERVICE CHARGES OF THE CURRENT REPAIRS. I have a handicam of DCR-HC42E model, was having a single complain of no picture in LCDas it was repaired in ur puna service center, on 09.01.2008,
the complain given was solved through job no. 10429755.as they replaced FP185 Strip, ,
but new complain which were not there initially came into my handicam, i complained it through letter to your pune service center and to your delhi office, in the month of feb 08
they called me and said to bring the piece back for checking,
we manage to come to your service center on 10.03.08, and saw the behavior of your person there was very rude and firstly they denied to accept our complaint letter they said to keep the handicam and ask us to come one day after as they the need to cheek our handicam,
one day after when we came there, ur service engineer gave us the estimate of 7000/- for the repair of handicam,
we were shocked as the complained raised because of your mistake, and even though u are charging us, pls tell us why we should pay you, as complain rise because of your negligence,
that day i got very disturb as ur service engineer was very rud behaving with us and roughly talking with us,
this will be my last complain to you as further if my problem is not solved, i ill be forced to take legal action against sony India pvt ltd..
