I had purchased a Sony handy cam model (Sony DCR – HC 62E) Dated on 2/08/2008 from Modern Electronics Co .Ltd. Saudi Arabia-Riyadh. I bought Sony since it is of one my favorite brand, i am unhappy of your product; the unit was not working almost 8 months. The unit was given to the Sony Authorized service center (Madonna Sales & Service) in India. they kept for 3 Months and gave back .they says the main PCB is faulty and it is not available . Now I am working in Qatar, here also I had taken the unit to Sony service center they replied it is not possible to service since it was bought from Saudi Arabia. As your warranty card says it holds international warranty card, but now the service centers says to take back to Saudi Arabia, which is not possible for me since I presently I am working in Qatar. I am so disappointment the way you treat your customer. Being a world leader in manufacture of consumer electronics it is ashamed of your poor product support. Here after I will not purchase your product and will not recommend your product to others unless and until this problem is resolved. Either you send us the board (part number A1444216A….) or provide servicing of the unit or any remedy to resolve the problem.
Looking forward for customer support…your immediate action will be precipitated.
