Sony — Repair of LCD TV | |||
I have a Sony Bravia LCD TV. The display was not clear. The Sony person came for inspection and I had to send it to the service centre at santacruz for the change of the display panel. While taking the tv on the 9th of feb, 2011, the Sony representative told me that the TV would be done in 4 days. I called back after 4 days, they still hadn't got the part from their manufacturer. He told me it would take another 4 days. I stayed back for 4 more days when I got a call from them on a Friday that they have received the part and the tV would be done 2 days. I called back after 2 days and was very disappointed to hear that the part has still not come. This is the way these people at santacruz service centre work. It has been 20 days now and there is no hope for me to get the tv. The tv costs 3 lakhs and this is the service I get from them. The most annoying part is that when I call them to enquire about the tV, they pick up the call and put it on hold for half an hour. This has happened to me 3 times.
