Sony — TV problem needs to be replaced | |||
Hi, 1 week back i have bought Sony Bravia 40HX750 and on the first day itself it started giving me trouble the problem is a thin violet color Vertical line about 8" length is appearing on the TV i have logged complaint with the sony and the service person who came to check told us that the Panel has to be replaced. he has not even checked the problem and just by looking at the TV he told that panels is faulty and has to be replaced. it is only one day used TV and this problem has come, now i get the doubt on SONY reliability and Service also as the service person seems does not have much knowledge and suggesting to replace the full panel without going into the depth of the problem. TV is under warranty but still the service person is telling that they will charge us 2000 rupees for service charges and transport of spare parts. is it true that they will charge service and transport charges even for under warranty TV. they should replace the TV instead of only changing the panel as it is only one day used TV. please someone help me, i think the service people are just cheating us..
