[Resolved] Standard Chartered Bank — Deducted 3000 Rs while transaction was failed | |
Dear Sir / Madam On the 2nd Feb, 2009, I swiped my Standard Chartered bank debit card(Salary a/c) from ICICI Bank ATM .Though the transaction declined 3 times and the amount has been deducted from my account. Than I went to Standard Chartered Bank ATM than I came to know that I lost my 3000 Rs. than nothing was showing properly in Mini statement and Internet banking transaction record record.When contacted the customer care executive they said nothing to worry it would be reversed back with in 15 working days and saying that it is ICICI banks fault not our.This time they wanted me to fill the dispute form which suppose to come today but yet not received.Than I got call from Ms. Madhu from Mumbai now she is saying that we can not commit anything than when you will get amount back It can take 60 days or more than that and you have to send me a written complain latter hard copy but still not committing when I can get my money back. This was very surprising and an eye opener to the kind of service that is being offered.If a person is holding a banks amount than it should be the responsibility the Bank to return money within 15 days. I have spent my money and time calling them from date but i have had no proper response. Can some one help me in getting back the money and also advise how this process works. kindly advise.
