[Resolved]  Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card — SCB Credit Cards.... No support, No transparency... Most irresponsible Customer care Team

I am very unhappy with PHONEBANKING SERVICES of "standard chartered bank gold credit card". Actually I have lost my card on 24/11/07 and then tried so hard to reach the phone banking to block my card and finally when on 26/11/07 anyhow I contacted the phone banking they told me that there have been three transactions of retail on 24/11/07 worth Rs. 38000 approx. They were not able to tell me that where these transaction has been made and on this ground as per them even I cannot raise the Complain or dispute.
Finally on 27/11/07 again after struggling for 2 hours they told me that one transaction of Rs. 24769 has been made in Reebok, Delhi but they were not able to share the store name with me. Also they disclosed that one transaction of Rs. 10000 and one for Rs. 4096 has been made..... but Where? No answer.
Then they sent me the dispute form and told me to fax it back but only for the Reebok transaction. I faxed it back. Again on 28/11/07 I called they told me that your request for dispute has been forwarded, but when today on 29/11/07 I called them to know the status they are telling me that they have not received the fax but most strange thing is that I have the delivery receipt with me... secondly Today they are saying that there were only one transaction of Rs. 14096,and the most strange thing is after 6 and half day of transaction they are not able to tell me the name of the merchant. They are very irrisponsble..... I have not recieved a single call from them after my so many calls!!!!!!!!!!!

I am holding Your Credit Card(VISA BUSINESS)no:[protected].I had deposited my cheque no:506588 dt.7-9-12 for Rs.1416/- against my setember-12 bill, the due date of which was15-9-12, in your branch at chandavarkar road, borivli(W)mumbai.However, I was surprised to see in my oct-12 bill that the said cheque was returned on 8-9-2012.The reason correct account required.I am bit confused because, The cheque I have issued contains my account number and the card account number also written correctly on the cheque and your printed payment details slip has been attached to the cheque while depositing.I am sure that cheque has not been presented to my bank since I checked up with my banker.Then how is it possible that the cheque deposited on 7th evening gets returned on 8th itself.Further, if at all due to any reason if the cheque was not encashable then the same should have been brought to my notice as there was still 7 days left for the due date[protected]. When this has been brought to your telebanking officers, i was told to make the payment and then pursue the matter.Accordingly I have made the payment due upto october, and requested your officer to waive off the return cheque charges. However, they shown their inability and asked me to write to you. Hence this complaint as otherwise, during allthese years association with your bank I have never faced any kind of inconvenience. I would therefore request you to waive off the return cheque charge or else prove that this has happened because of my fault with evidence. Till then, I am not going to use your card and even prepared to return the same to you but wont pay the return cheque charge.
I am yet to come across a more unprofessional customer care service than the stanchart bank...i have been calling up and sending e-mail all addresses mentioned in site for my card accountxxxxxxxxxx6679 for FY 2009/10...i have also given in writing that i will pay the charges for this service...trust me that it is more than month that i ve been knocking at the doors of customer care of standard chartered bank...all i have received is auto response mail and a couple of e- mails saying that the statements will be sent soon...i need this information of income tax and i am in a fix.. what to do now because the bank is not responding...

I have taken your credit card based on the confirmation from your Telecallers and executive who has come to Fill up the Appln form that there wont be any Yearly Annual Charges for my Card .But when I checked with the E statement for this month the Annual Charge has been charged to me.

You guys doesnt have shame it seems, if I call to the customer care everytime call gets disconnects or they say network down,
I dont know whether you guys knows english or intentionally you dont wanto to reply.

I have requested for the card enhancement package cancellation few months back, In this I recieved old vouchers where the hotels mentioned was invalid(you sent me old/ not updated vouchers). Your associate said, she will send the updated vouchers.

I havent recieved any updated vouchers and I sent back the existing vouchers to Bangalore SC office based in Koramangala. Till now the cancellations not happened and every day I am getting remeinder SMS, calls. what is happening I dont know. Already my bill has grown to 5k. which I am not going to pay.

Take some serious action on this. This is why people wont trust such banks. I think not even 1/100 guys will be having your cards because of the poor services.

my card no is [protected]. and i am holding this card for more than 16 /18 years. i have not receive the statement since jan 2013. this was told to your representative many times he/ she promised to sent the statement immediately however nothing has happened so far. whenever we try to contact the bank the the cal is diverted to voice recorder and thus we are unable to speak to bank representative.
if you see my record i always pay the full outstanding.Because i did not received the statement.
i paid cash twice but still the statement is not received.now i am further surprised to know that my credit limit is drastically reduced to Rs. 17000 from Rs.137000. I want to know why my credit limit was revised and i request to restore the same.
