Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card — Charged me even after agreeing that transaction is fraudulent | |||
Fraudulent Transaction Detected still charged me On Oct 2012, Standard Chartered Bank detected and fraudulent transaction on my credit card. They called me and asked my permission to block the card temporarily. I have stopped using the card since then. Then they charged me for an amount which was not reversed. I made several long telephone calls and countless e mails. It takes them more than one month to reply each mail. Each reply is CAREFULLY AVOIDING the point why they are asking me to I pay for a fraudulent transaction. Each email says, I must pay. This is not funny since I did not make any purchase. I continuously get SMS and mail that I must pay, otherwise they will make some "COLLECTION CALLS". Can anybody explain what kind of threat it is ? I have not spent, so I will not pay. No one does. I am using this card from 1997 and no need to explain to me "TERMS AND CONDITIONS" now. I have redeemed reward points already (I was a heavy user of this credit card). This card still have CR balance on my name and over 10,000 reward points. I am using my other cards since there is no safety as to for what transactions made by whom, they will ask me to pay ! I will wait for one more month before hiring a professional and filing a police complaint. Some Automated calls are coming to my number about twice thrice a day repeating the message for payment.
