Standard Chartered Bank — Reported in CIBIL
Ref.: Credit Card # [protected]Standard Chartered Bank has wrongly reported my Credit Rating in CIBIL website. I paid all the dues.
SCB is unable to retrieve the Statement of Account vide which they received my last payment, as that statement will have all the details about un-paid amount (if any). It is the responsibility of the bank to inform its customer about any such amount before reporting to CIBIL.
Besides, the above, they are insisting for a payment of Rs. 9,500/- for the removal of my name from CIBIL website.
I have been writing continuously to their senior management as well, but in vain.
This is with reference to the below mentioned message and discussions over telephone with one of the responsible officer in Standard Chartered Bank, Gurgaon, after receipt of following message at their end.
As informed that you will inform to the concerned Customer Care officer about the discussions we had and that you will ask them to send a message to me informing
(a) that Standard Chartered Bank is unable to retrieve the Statement of Account of my credit card for the period when your bank received the last payment from me and
(b) that your bank can issue a 'No Due' certificate, only if I pay Rs. 9,500/-
I regret to inform that I have not received any message from your Customer Care Office till now. I am sure that you have communicated to the concerned authority for sending a response to me. If not, kindly do so URGENTLY, as you are aware that I need to apply for loan for the renovation of my house.
