Hi I had a very tough time with these people I want to put up a complaint against them I have got a SBI card with much persual of a agent of SBI Then after that I did a purchase with that card and have done the payment Then these people ask me to take a insurance from them, Which I agreed, and In the mean time I found that I am not able to pay for the insuarance, So I called them up at there unreachable number after dialling their customer care number I got sucess only once, I asked them to close my account and I am not interested in your card any more kindly close it down, They said ok to me and then, they sent me a bill of Rs 126 as insurance cover Which was a surprise to me I was baffled Then thought, As if is the last bill I will bear the cost, So I paid the bill then after the bills started coming I tried calling their call centers but of no use. Now they are rasing a bill of nearly Rs 3500/- and are asking me it to settle it over Rs 1000/- my point is why should I pay for a thing which I no longer have and I asked them to stop all this. Please look into it I have replied to their Laywers, But they have not replied to me Below is the mail I have written to there Lawyers Please help Regards Shivani Please track them down on this as I as As I Ref: QL/150/March/08/1587 Dear Sir/ Madam, Please refer to your demand note As per this this sbi card was sent by the franchisee itself and I was not even interested in this, They were interested in sending this card to me. It was just once that I have used this card for buying some thing, and the payment was made as soon as I got the bill of the same As far as I remember, They have added one insurance cover, on there own, which I was not even interested in, Now they are harrasing me mentally and by using your services. I tried calling them many times to resolve the same but their call centers put a deaf ear to it Now also I was calling the below mentioned numbers in your demand note but again nobody answered. I am in turn getting calls from these agencies for recovery I ask them tell me why are you charging me? What was my purchase for which I need to pay you such a huge amount Then they asked me that we can settle it down for Rs 1000/- only which again is cluless for me why do I need to pay this amount. They say this is such a small amount that they wont give me detail of the expenses incurred by me, May be this is a small amount for them but not for me. I asked them give me the details I will pay on actuals Not that you keep adding some huge amount of interest to it. Kindly look into it. As my family is also going through a rough time, So there wont be any one at the home for reciving your letters Please sort this out ASAP Thanking You, Yours truly, Shivani Chakraborty.
