I am Animesh verma and my SBI credit card no is [protected].
There were few questions about my payments and i triedup calling on sbi customer service but they put me on hold for 21 minutes and disconnected after that. Ihave also tried calling them before but got no response..is that the servise they are proud of?

SBI Credit Card — Poor service!

I agree that sbicard has very very poor service and
moreover executive attending misguide the customer and I was also one of the sufferer last year.Inspite of countlss complaints from last two years to all sources till date I have not got ATM PIN from sbi card. Whenever I complaint at feedback or at head card regarding this ,every time a typical answer come to me that a duplicate PIN has been dispatched to your mailing address and soon it will be reached to you but till date I have not recieved niether original nor duplicate ATM PIN from sbi card after isseuance of credit card to me.
Further more the executive reply only those querry which are favourable to sbi card and unfavourable querries are never replied. Only the
customer suffer never sbicard executives whatever
the reason may be and I was one of them when excutive either misguide or do mistake but I pay for
that but no action was taken against the responsible
executives even various complaints and this type of
complaints were never replied.

Eh saale SBI vaale hain hi ek number ke kutte insaan. They are burden on Govt = public, as they draw and want salaries of private sector and dont even want to work 10% what the private sector does. They have got air conditioned environment to work, but they keeping strolling out for tea breaks, lunch breaks, and are usually 30 minutes late in the morning and shut their files 30 minutes before evening going time or generally would ask to come tomorrow.

1. ) See, for opening account they take 15 to 20 days, where as private or any other banking takes 15 to 20 mins.


2.) It takes 2 mins to issue a kit for internet banking for normal or private bank or office, SBI takes more than 3 months to eternityyyyyyyyyyyy. Cuz I been waiting for three months and went for about 10 to 15 times to them for that and everytime there is a direction for a new table with a new reason, and finally i took my application back and tore the application form in front of the staff, and I did tell them they are the real winners in "Haramkhori" and their children are the products of that haramkhori, and that their children, if can think what is right and wrong, should spit into the mouth of their parents who work in such a way in a country which is already trying to pass through a choking tunnel.

3.) It takes 1.5 minutes to get a banking statement from a computer to printer to a hard copy, SBI takes more than 3 days for that.

See how they are obstructing the progress of the country by their old fashioned redtapism and procrastination.

I have been trying to get in touch with your customer service for the last few days but the lines are busy. Finally when I got through today I had to hold the line for 20 mins before someone answered the call. Thanks to your highly efficient service I am late on my payment by 6 days and I am being hounded by your collections team for payment every day for the last 4 days . they even called me on Sunday 13th March asking for money like I was a serial defaulter. I would suggest your bank to first fix the customer service SLA’s before harassing a customer for payments which are not even a week over due other wise I would not hesitate taking your to court for violation of TRAI norms and for violation of customer rights.

Also please provide my RTGS code for my credit card as I need to add it for auto debit with my bank.

I have also provided my new address to the customer service today to update my new correspondences address.

i never got a revert on any of my comlaints on the contrary their harrasment contineous for collections.

I have sent a follow up complained for which the only responce i got was we will be in touch with you shortly. below are the details of my follow up

I am feeling frustrated with your bank at this point of time. I am using credit cards for the last 10 years and have never been treated this way.
Let me tell you why is it so.
1. Last time that I wrote to I had requested for RTGS code (please refer to the trail mail below) I am yet to receive that. I wanted the same so that I could link my HDFC bank a/c for online payments.
2. The same day I wrote to you (14th March) I was contacted by your collections team asking me to make a payment on 15th as it is my bill generation date. They specifically asked me to go to the branch and deposit the cheque at the counter so that this months payment does not reflect again. I went to SBI Powai (Hiranandani) branch at 9.30 sharp but there were no employees there. I spoke to only working person who was the branch manager, was very rude. they showed me the drop box and asked me to deposit the cheque there and when I tried to explain what I was told, I was given a deaf ear. Out of choice I did as I was told.
3. In my email (refer to the trail mail) as well as over the phone (customer service) I had requested for change of address but the March statement still went to my old address.
4. When I finally got the chance to review the statement I was shocked to see that the payment due date was immediate and the payment I had made was also reflected in the statement along interest on the money I have paid.
5. I was promised reversals on the finance charges when I spoke to your phone banking officer in March which was not reflecting in this statement.
6. I went to the powai branch to get the corrections made but unfortunately they are not open till 10.00Am atleast that’s when the employees walk in. and I have made a few attempts to call your call center but there I am on waiting eternally.
7. I am personally a manager with an organisation and handle customer support.. I work from 9.30 in the morning to 10.30 in the night and I understand how difficult this business is but the way SBI treates its customer is appauling. I am customer with CITI for the last 10 years. They have never charged me to have their credit card nor do they offer me toll free numbers to call. But they give me what I need the most and that is prompt service so that I don’t have to go to bed thinking I have a payment to make.

These are the reasons why I want my card to be cancele immedialy
I wanted to make my payments online but your bank has not supoported me in the same.
I was harassed by your collecitons team at the most inconvenient times and when I compleied with their request your bank did not support.
Simple requests such as change of address do not get registered
Lack of values while conducting business (comitments made are not fulfilled)
You have made me look like a defaulter in my credit rating with Crysil.
Please have some one call me to collect my total outstanding on the a/c and confirm that the a/c is closed.

I am also logging this complaint with the banking Ombudsmen and if need be following it up with consumer court.

Please also refer to all the calls I have received from your collection team and the calls I have made to your customer support as you would be required to submit them in court.
