I have withdraw the cash from my account on september 29th 2008 through ATM approximately between 2000 hrs to 2200 hrs. I have entered Rs. 20000 on ATM to withdraw cash but I have received only 17000/- whereas the balance 3000/- were returned back to ATM. The amount of Rs. 20000/- were deducted from the balance of the account whereas I have got only 17000/-.I have personally contacted to local bank but they have not answered. Hello

I work for Union Bank of India, but would like to make a suggestion based on my experience

As per RBIs instructions SBI has to refund the money to you anyway at the end of 12 days from your complaint, or Rs 100 per day penalty thereafter, unless they deny the error. Please lodge a followup complaint and include this point in your complaint
