[Resolved] State Bank of India — No corrective action | |||
I dont know who would read this or any action would be taken, but I am just offloading my frustation :-) Complaint: Bank not helping to make the SBI Account correction and Loan closure 1: I had a car loan from SBI Technopark branch which was closed ahead of time. To be able to get the closure statements (form 35 etc) to make the updates in the RC book, the bank insists that I need to visit the bank. I have had car loans from other banks too. Upon completing the loan-payment, all of them have sent the related documents without even requesting. Various tickets were raised in the bank site. Each time, they close the ticket asking me to contact the bank ('sbi.[protected]@sbi.co.in'). 2. My name is incorrectly titled as Mrs. Its a simple request I am asking them to correct for years now.. Again same response.. Approach the branch to make the correction, I am in the software industry and I know very well that the software built for SBI can be handled by anyone-anywhere and the customer does not have to physically go to the bank for these silly matters.. None of the above requests have any financial implication and customer need not visit the bank. I think it's a saddism to troublem people.. I see a lot of this attitude in Governement "servants" and public sector bank employees. Due to same reason, I moved away from them for the home loan. Regds D K Mathai.
