State Bank of India — shortage of money
from R.KUPPAMMAL, A/c.No.[protected]-7, state bank of india, pattukkottai, tanjure dist, tamilnadu-614601. to the manager, state bank of india , pattukkottai, tanjure dist, tamilnadu-614601. respected sir, sub: 600 rupees short while withdrawing money-refund-request-reg. i have drawing pension for the past 5 years form this bank. on 1 11 2011 i have withdrawn rupees 13500/- of which i received 100 rupee denomination of sealed one bundle . assuming that sealed bundle always be correct , i went to my home , break the seal and counted repeatedly for several times. it contains only 94X100 rupee notes and short of 6X100 rupee notes (six hundred rupees). i am living lonely in my house in the village palanjure . i brought this to the knowledge of manager of state bank of india pattukkottai . when i attempted to give written complaint , the manager softly said "Don't give written complaint we will not accept this , it is your mistake of without counting the money at the counter itself . we are not responsible for this". can i doubt about sealed bundle of money ? and how i will count the money without breaking open the bundle ? is it safe , being a lonely lady, to count the money at the crowded bank premises? hence i request that , believe the truth , find out the culprit, and kindly arrange to repay my money please. thanking you , yours faithfully, R.KUPPAMMAL, A/c.No.[protected]-7 Was this information helpful?
