[Resolved]  Sun Direct — no response from customer care

i bought sun durect DTH 19 days back from distributor chennai.. it was working for hardly 2 hours then it got some problem( set top box not working) i complaint to the customer care 35 times(i have the proof with detailed phone bill)till now there was no response from their side...

my smat card no is [protected] i recharged basic tamil pack charge is Rs125 i am in manglore last saturday(10/10/09) i recharged my account near my flat they told after 1 hr it will come but after 2 days also it won't come then again i called that shop 1 lady told u call to customer care i called to custome care no reply no one attend the call i really disappoinment that customer service i want to get back my amount back or i want to get back the channnel please do favour for me that shop address is Mobile Zone, Essel House, Bejai Main Road, Bejai Manglore 575004, i[censored]r not take any action i will go further action to be taken.
I paid Rs.2249.00 on 16th Oct.2009 for SunDTH with Sri Balaji Electricals, Alwarthirunagar, Chennai-87. I was told that installaion will be done on the same day itself. I waited till 11.00PM after making phone calls 3-4 times to Sri Balaji Electricals. But no installation was carried out till 10.00AM today(19.10.2009) I spoke to Sun direct Call Center 3 times today. Every time the person attending complaint says that installation will be done today or he would find out reason for delay and inform me. But again no action is taken either for installation or giving any information on my complaint. The last person received complaint at 6.30pm is Mr.Govinrajan of Call Center who promised that he would call me up and inform action taken by Sundirect. But he too never called me up. No instalation was done.Now Sri Balaji Electricals is ready to refund the money they received. I wish to bring this to the notice of Senior Officers of Sundirect for remedial action
Today (03rd November, 2009) morning I have watched SUN TV. Actually my due date is 4th of every month. Around 7.15a.m. or so "E16 service is currently scrambled" message exhibited on 3rd itself. As I have already recharged for 2 months subscription in advance on 02/10/2009 throgh Oxigen Purchase (OXIDB), it was disconnected. Details of Transaction are as follows:

But How they allowed me to watch up to today, I Surprised. Kindly verify my payment details (given above) and take necessary action to give immediate connection. Do the NEEDFUL and expecting your immediate SERVICE TO THE CUSTOMER PLEASE.

my id is[protected] .i done my recharge on 20/10/2009 for rs.1000.i spoke customer care and update it.suddenly i check my connection on 25/10/2009 is disconnect.after that im in out of station.again i spoke to ur customer care officer i gave a compliant to them.they told within 48 hrs it will update on 6/11/2009.today 9/11/2009 the connection is not recharged.again i speak customer care and gave a compliant they told within 24 hrs and compliant no is [protected].we are not happy with sun direct dth service.the service is very bad.pl do immediately and recitified my complinat.

Even though my account is filled with sufficient balance, it has become the habit to promptly disconnect the prior day of expiry, and every time I have to beg for the restoration of disconnection. It is absolutely a very bad response and I some times wonder wheather the Customer care really exists or not
New customers - THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU LEAP
I recharged my Sun dth connection[protected]R )with discovery and soni channels as add on in December 2009. but strangly both add-on were scranbbled on 2nd February without any reason. This being in fact that a sum of Rs 70 is still lying as balance in sun, s account.
Again I recharged my connection with Rs 525 with exixting add-on plans included, but not only the Add-ons but many channels are being displayed scrambled.
Thheir policies and services seem to be quite unreliable. If my accounts not readjusted and plans retored properly, the only way remains for me to lodge complaints againt them in consumers forum.
The people desiring to have Sun dth in view of their alluring offers should now think thrice before they opt for it. -prem dubey

SUN TV CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY BAD 24 HOURS NOT ATTEND AND NOT UPTO DATED BY ONLINE TRY TO IMPROVE PLEASE OTHERWISE OK...

Does the sun direct customer care no. 39407575 work? I have a feeling that it is not a 24 hrs customer care. Are they cheating? The no. is always busy / engaged.
Sundirect: We are using for the last nearly NINE MONTHS or so. Their customer care is horrible. I advise people not to choose SUNDIRECT. They never respond to complaints. They debited my account with Rs.20 but not activated cricket channel inspite of lodging several complaints. They did not bother to reverse the amount so debited. This is nothing but cheating the public in the name of "entertainment". They should be dragged to Consumer Court. I had taken Sun Direct last month after seeing the ad that said Rs 1150 only.But i ended up paying almost 2800 including taxes and installation charges plus Rs 100 the installation guy.We shifted our house more than a week back and when we called the customer care guys they said they would come and fix it but to no avail.We had called them several times since last week but no response.Sun direct seem to be professionals in cheating customers.My advise to others planning to take this--Dont EVEN try!!!
set up box complaints.ask this your technitions no response on time.
