[Resolved]  Sun Direct — no response from customer care

i bought sun durect DTH 19 days back from distributor chennai.. it was working for hardly 2 hours then it got some problem( set top box not working) i complaint to the customer care 35 times(i have the proof with detailed phone bill)till now there was no response from their side...

I m MALKIAT SINGH from punjab, last year we bought sundirect connection . according there plane we got this dth. we had cable connection 5year back . but we won't have GOD TV AND DAYSTAR . The reason is why i bought this sundirect that is they have in their plane some devotional channels but i bought for only two devotional channels . this are GOD tv and Daystar . we can't get this channls espect sundirect . that way i got this dth . but after few month back this two channels was removed when we saw our family totaly shocked . without these devotional channels sundirect box is useless for us. we bought for only devotional channels which is already removed . so i several time made a call to customarcare no which in chandigarh. but it is busy or not response . twic time i made a chennai customarcare no. but not full response . we are suffering from this problem long months . pls help us . to solve this problem.

i sent you my complaint already, i was forgetting to add some thing about sundirect . this is MY BOX NO : H[protected] . and MY CARD NO : [protected], sir i onceagain repeat you what i was mention in my previous complaint . what they are given us basic plane when i got this dth . according their plane they are giving lot of channels . but sir the reson is i got the sundirect for only two devotional 1st is GOD TV and DAYSTAR channels . i got for these resone. because they already added in their basic plane . but when we watch this channels after they are disconected these two devotinal channels . after this i made a call-up to customarcare but i found no solution . pls i request to you kindly solve my matter,

Sun Direct — No response from Customer Care

For the last five days, SUN Direct customer care numbers in Bangalore, [protected] and 39407575, are not at all responding. It seems that they had some software or server issues. Consumers are unable to recharge their accounts or activate add-ons because of this. There is no information from the company what the issue exactly is. If you send an email, nobody responds. Customer care does not give you a complaint number, nor is there any way to track the complaint. Sun Direct has also removed the mobile phone number of the Nodal officer from the website home page.

I request the High Court or the Lokayukta to immediately intervene in the matter.
You are right. I am trying to login to customer care for the last 4 days. it's displaying the same error message. On 14th of May I have called up customer care to deactivate only Ten sports package. They have deactivated all my add-ons from 18th. Now I am not able to see any of the add-ons and also not able to activate any channels because of login problem and the customer care no. is always busy?!
Two days back I recharge through SMS. I replied your rechagre topped up. But still there is activation.
Twice I send e mail to them. But there is no response. I tried several times through customer care
but that is fully engaged.

My name is Purna Chandra Rao from Vijayawada. My set up box no is r[protected]. Sun Direct offers very bad customer care. I lost signal on May 13, by showing error message E 49. I called customer care. They told to keep smart care out side the set up box for one hour and try again. Every customer care executive told like that only. I did not get signal even after 4 days. Then they used to advise contact distributor as it was technical problem. The distributors in Vijayawada are reckless and irresponsible especially Balaji Sun Direct. Still they do not send technician. When contacting Balaji Sun Direct, they used to avoid attending phone. I never seen such a worest care. Still they do not send technician to my home. My serious advise to public do not buy Sun Direct though it has good picture quality and cheap, but lacks immediate customer care, which is most important for any company to survive.
Very very worst customer care service. Always getting busy tone. They are not making good mechanism even after seeing many complaints as above.

We have connected the SUN DTH on 04.07.2008. We have saw the all tamil channels like sun news, kalignar news, jaya news, adithya, comedy channel, chutty tv and others. But today we have not received the above channels, we have received only sun tv, jaya tv, vijay tv, kalignar tv.

The service is not working for the past 15 days and i complained to customer care, they directed me to the distributor.. and all of them stoped busines with this company .. Now i cannot get it fixed.

TATA Sky is a better option
hello people i w am also one of the sundirect sufferer i recharged for one year that is1000 rs but they are deducing per month so it was a big loss to me and if i call the customer care they behaved very rudely so people please dont buy sun direct and also never think of buying reliance, tata sky or dish tv they are also very worst fellow so it is better you find some alternative ways instead of buying connections from this frauds
The reliance is the biggest frauds i have paid 3000/ rs without any reason the actual fault was the companies but i was the victim.

In my sun direct connection there is no Tamilan Channel and asked customer care centre, hay said the tamilan channel is not in the sun direct

I request you to kindly include that channel also. Hence that television channel also provides important programme

There is a proplem every now and then they have poor signal during rains. They keep on deleting some or the other channel. Request you to please improve your services to satisfy your customers.
I also agree that service is too bad. I am also thinking to buy company other service.
