[Resolved] Tata Aig — Insurance Policy | |
Dear Sir, I purchased a new Tata Indica Car on May 8, 2008 from Lexus Motors in Kolkata. I submitted all my documents to them to change the insurance from previous car (which I had sold before the new car is received). The Insurance person of Lexus Motors had collected the original insurance policy, the selling agreement and forms and original money receipt of previous policy from me. They promised to return me the cheque from Tata Aig against the unutilised portion of the insurance. I have not received any cheque from Tata AIG. Request you to kindly look into this at the earliest and pay me the balanced amount with interest. Was this information helpful? | |

I have been receiving numerous SMS from TM TATA AIG and LM TATA AIG on my mobile no. [protected]. These are meant for some Sarawagi. I am having this number for more than 8 years and do not know any Sarawagi.May I expect the company to discontinue sending such SMS

TATA AIG — Unsolicited Medical Insurance
TAT AIG Medical Policy Nos IRHC [protected] & IRHC [protected] I was contacted by Mr Afroz of TATA AIG for buying their Medical Insurance Policy. I declined going for the same as I did not have any written document was provided by them. The sales rep. categorically told me that I need to make payment only if I agree to the policy terms and he will be sending me preactivated policy and I need to contact my bank (credit card) and authorise payment. During the coversation he took my credit card No and Expiry date. Later I got a verification call from them asking me to verify credit card no. and Expiry date. The agent asked me for the CVV no. but i refused to give the same. In couple of days i received two insurances one in my name and the other in my spouse's. I was shocked to read the covering letter which stated that payment for the two policies have already been received by TATA AIG. I contacted my bank to verfiy if there are any transaction that happened for TATA AIG, they confirmed the same to me I felt cheated by TATA AIG and requested them to refund the amount back to my credit card. However the person who took my call stated that they will take a cut of 25% to which i have not agreed. All the trasaction with TATA AIG had been over phone.
