I am complaining against your customer care officer Ashish.

On 2nd Feb 2011 I have made 3 or 4 calls to short out the mistakes he has made.

On 2nd Feb when I called first time on that day Ashish received the phone & I was asking him regarding the rules to change the packages; but he was desperately interested to change my package.

Besides this he changed also my package from super value (275 Rs) to some Economy pack.

I need from Tatasky to take strict actions against him because he has lied to me also.

Humans can do mistakes but lying is not negotiable.

I had strictly said him for not changing any pack any channel then also he has changed.

& also he has lied that he has not done anything so their is nothing to change.

This is really very shameful matter that he lied on the phone.

The company & the court can hear the whole phone-call & that's why I have mentioned his name & date of calling.

I dont need this pack. Enable my last pack soon.

Hi,

I took tata sky around 10 months back with the South jambo pack. After some days they moved some channels into lifestyle gold pack and increased the rates. I thought this will be one time thingh but now they have moved all the sports channels in a diffrent pack and now tata sky will cost Rs. 45 more.

There should be some law in place for these kind of things. they just can not wake up one day nad ask us to pay more.

Tata sky has not give me good service but they have given me a lot of tension.

Please do something about this.

I took tata-sky in the middle of 2006 - that way I am quite an old customer of tata-sky. That time there was no different packages. First time I complained them, I learnt that as existing customers we will be always given the previllage of viewing the channels that we were viewing during our Tata-Sky installation. I am sure they said these to all other customers then - whoever complained.

I feel I am being cheated and I think consumer forum should take strict legal step to stop this kind of offence.

I took tata sky on seeing the list of channels they were providing. That time there was no clause in their advertisement or anywhere that they will add packages or even may stop providing any channels, anytime. Currently they have dropped almost 13 popular channels that I was enjoying.

Now, in their website they are writting new rules - to cut their customer's pockets. The complain section of their website also allows to write complains to them in 60 words only. And if they don't like the complain they set the complain status to "Closed" status at their will.

This is high time that customers should get the legal backing from consumer court.

Tata Sky — CHEATERS

With reference to Order number ( 1-[protected]) which was placed on 24th Aug 08 with TATA SKY.

Just to inform you that while placing this order I was promised that the set-up box will be delivered in 4 working days but for your information sir, it has not been delivered yet.

I am neither shocked or surprised becouse now i have realized with the experience that the big corporate always have this luxury to take their customers for ride and still they will get all the certification ( quality in service) and support of govt in achieving this goal/objective.

Since last thursday, I have been following up with TATA SKY on this and it is realy sad to say but I failed to get the delivery or they have failed in their committment. Every time I call up, I have told that either the Delivey Van is on its way or by 9' o' clock in the evening I will get the delivey. No matter who so is the owner of the company, they should be penalized and brought to the task, so that the incidents of this kind doesn't takes place in future.

Believe me it is not just money which I have spent on making calls from my mobile every day but also quality time on follow - ups and insterestingly people like Naveen with whom I had a talk on this will cut down your phone ( I believe this is important to get quality certification :) and lied that phone got disconnected.

Earlier I used to believe that companies like this will change the cable distribution industy in India but now I have percieved no it is not so and they are no better than small time cable operators except for the fact the govt will get one more source to tax who are actually already taxed and that too without thinking much about the consumer . And these corporates will enjoy on our money.

These companies should be broght to the task and should be penalized so that consumers don't get cheated like this in future any more like what is done in other countries. Companies like TATA SKY should not be allowed to this to their customer in future.

I am waiting to see how good you are going to do this to me and mind you till the time they are not penalized financially, it won't make much diffrence to them.

sir i wanted to complain against the dirty tricks played by tata sky to loot customers. what they have done now is that they have added crucial channels like ESPN, STAR SPORTS AND STAR CRICKET to a new add on pck called "SPORTS PLATINUM" it costs rs. 75 a month .they already have... MOREOVER SOME OF FREE TO AIR CHANNEL LIKE 9XM IS NOT STARTED YET.

But i don`t get this facilities on my mobile till now.So i request you plz give me this facilities on my mobile early as possible.

Yesterday I gave the money to pay for annual mega pack.But the person has paid it for super saver pack.
and he told that we cant pay for annual mega pack because with one subscriber id 3-4 tata sky are taken.can anyone have one subscriber id for three ti four tata sky.If we wnat to pay for annual mega pack than all three of them have to pay for it.

There has been a misappropriation and super saver pack has been activated instead of annual mega pack. The customer care personnel must have wrongly activated the pack. He must have been providing information about multiroom connection in case you do not have a mulitroom connection such area should have been avoided however the CC personnel always gets the customer updated and imparts knowledge. There is no obligation as such that all three of them have to be paid for annual mega pack. In case you have a multiroom connection then too you will be able to choose the pack you desire for each STB. Also the misappropiation must have occured due to child connections.

My Subscribe ID No. is [protected] and I had purchased two boxes i.e. one was secondry box the primary boxes Digi card number was[protected] and Digicom no. is[protected] which is taken by one of my relative and is being using in Gulf country Oman. The person using is on my name has changed the Subscribe ID no. and fake address and after so many complaints to customer care there is no proper response and also my secondry boxes is being stop my secondry box Digi card no.[protected] and Digicom number is[protected]. I will like to complain about the person who has taken my primary box has changed the number into [protected]. Kindly do something and i want my same register number back

Tata Sky — Cheating Customer with wrong Information

Tata Sky has come up with an offer of Rs 1599 in which they say that installation is free when you call them. They ask you to pay through your Credit Card. I did as they said and was not informed of hidden costs. When the engineer came for installation he asked me to pay Rs.100 saying that the installation was non standard. I disagreed to pay but he still installed the connection. After 3 days I got a message on my mobile that my connection will be cancelled by mid-night if I don't pay Rs.100 which I was not informed of while taking a connection. When I called customer service, they told me that they will check but still have my connection cut.. You would not expect such a breach of trust from a company like Tata.. But beware.......These are a bunch of Cheats out there..
Standard installation + Warranty charges + activation charges which amount to Rs 1, 000 has been waived of making it to Rs 1, 599 which is the cost of the hardware and as per the offer you are entitled only to this (1, 599) amount. The mode of payment can be decided by you however the cc may suggest you a way to recharge in case there is an offer through that method which you may derive benefit of. However, an additional amount may be for the package which is not hidden but also not mentioned since it will depend on the pack you choose the basic package amounts to Rs 160/- . Technician visit is always charged but that is after the statutory installation as per terms. Since you are unaware in respect of what is the amount Rs 100/- charged for ? you should find out that first and if it is for package you will have to pay for a base pack but since the price of base pack being Rs 160/- it cannot be charged for base pack. You may also be in the offer entitled 2 months of free subscription (a) Super Value/South Value package and (b) Lifestyle Gold package in addition to existing benefits on the Installation free offer.

Tata Sky — Wrong package sold

TATA SKY has differnt package . I have bought their super saver package . Which on their website has mentioned features that Hungama Channel will be shown in all language. Once i bouth and paid them for Haly yearly we came to know that hungama is not coming in enlish. I have reported 5 complints online on tata sky portal though all were closed by agents without informing me. When i called up call center they said that this will not come in enlish they are sorry but they won't refund my money. I have taken all screen shots every thing. I am really planning to take the case with consumer court. This is not issue of 5000 rupess it's cheating and then not responsing to customer once they got payment.

I have registered a new TATA SKY connection through thye helpline and they told that if I subscribe for the Annual Supreme pack I will get a discount of Rs. 200. So I booked a new installation and I made the payment through IVRS using my credit card. Also they said that the connection will be installed within 48 hrs but the connection was installed only after 5 days and that too after a lot of difficulties. I had to call a lot many times. Let that go, then comes my subscription. Though I have already paid for annual subscription it is not updated in the system and it shows a negative balance. I called the customer care to update the status they said that it is not updated in the system. Anyhow you tell the actual amount you paid and then it will be updated. they also told that I will have to pay the additional amount which I have not paid. This is a case of completely misleading the customer and unfair practices followed by TATA SKY. Isko laga dal to life gaddhe me dala.
not receiving magic box from march-2011, i thought that you are really playing with us .

We have taken the tata sky connection from past two years, but to our disguise this is the 4th set up box we have changed.

They are providing the used setup box without sealed packet which was used before and repaired. To our surprised they are aslo chargind us for the replacement of set upbos along with the service tax.

When called the customer care there is nobody to answer our query and the call is kept for hold for more than half an hour.

They are also using the wrong benefits of the recharge amount. They deduct the amount from our balance without information or prior intimation but when we call the customer care for the information about the deduction they give variable answers.

So friends beware of this cheating done by the TATA SKY. Please check before going for this services as I have the experince of this torture. Only Amir Khan is the celebrity and the name TATA but not the srvices.
